Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan kecemasan menyusun skripsi pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dalam pengolahan datanya. Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini adalah Scale of Parenting Style untuk mengukur pola asuh yang diterima dan mengadaptasi skala State Anxiety Scale yang merupakan bagian dari State-Trait Anxiety Inventory untuk mengukur kecemasan menyusun skripsi pada mahasiswa. Dari 259 responden penelitian, hasil perhitungan dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS versi 25 menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara pola asuh authoritarian dan neglectful orang tua dengan kecemasan menyusun skripsi pada mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh otoritatif memiliki skor kecemasan terendah di antara semua pola asuh, sementara pola asuh otoriter memiliki skor kecemasan tertinggi. This research aims to determine the correlation of perceived parenting style and composing undergraduate thesis anxiety among college students. This research uses quantitative method to process the data. Perceived parenting style was measured by Scale of Parenting Style and composing undergraduate thesis anxiety was measured by adapting the State Anxiety Scale which part of State-Trait Anxiety Inventory. From 259 respondents, the analysis result with the help of the SPSS version 25 shows that there is a correlation between authoritarian and neglectful parenting style and composing undergraduate thesis anxiety among college students. The result also shows that authoritative parenting style has the lowest anxiety score compared to the other parenting styles, meanwhile authoritarian parenting style has the highest anxiety score compared to the other parenting styles.
