Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perceived organizational support terhadap workplace well-being pada karyawan di tempat kerja. Variabel Dependent dalam penelitian ini adalah workplace well-being yang berasal dari konsep kesejahteraan subjektif pada aspek pekerjaan dan kepuasan kerja. Variabel Independent penelitian ini adalah Perceived Organizational Support yang merupakan keyakinan karyawan bahwa organisasi menghargai kontribusi yang mereka lakukan, peduli, dan tanggung jawab terhadap kesejahteraan mereka, menjadi salah satu faktor yang dapat memengaruhi Workplace Well-Being karyawan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian non-eskperimental dan jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian survei. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner dan analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis regresi satu prediktor. Alat ukur yang digunakan yaitu Survey of Perceived Organizational Support milik Eisenberger (1986) untuk mengukur Perceived Organizational Support dan alat ukur Workplace Well-Being Index miliki Page (2005) untuk mengukur Workplace Well-Being. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sejumlah 140 karyawan perusahaan di Jakarta yang berusia 15 sampai 65 tahun dengan masa kerja minimal 1 tahun. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa nilai F hitung 199.493 > F tabel 3.91 dan nilai p 0.000 < ⍺ 0.05 yang berarti Hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara perceived organizational support terhadap workplace well-being pada karyawan di tempat kerja di Jakarta. Artinya semakin baik keyakinan atau persepsi karyawan terhadap bagaimana organisasi menghargai kontribusi yang telah mereka lakukan, peduli, dan tanggung jawab terhadap kesejahteraan yang mereka miliki, maka semakin baik pula kesejahteraan di tempat kerja yang mereka rasakan. Besar pengaruh yang perceived organizational support berikan terhadap workplace well-being sebesar 59.1%. This study aims to determine the effect of perceived organizational support on workplace well-being of employees in the workplace. The dependent variable in this study is that workplace well-being which is based on the concept of subjective well-being at work aspects and job satisfaction. The independent variable in this study is perceived organizational support which is an employee’s belief that organization value their contribution, care about and take responsibility for their well-being, is one of the factors that can affected an employee’s workplace well-being. The research method used in this research is quantitative research with a non-experimental research design and the type of research is survey research. Data collection was performed using questionnaire and data analysis using a single predictor regression analysis technique. The measuring instrument used was Survey of Perceived Organizational Support measuring tool from Eisenberger (1986) to measure perceived organizational support and Workplace Well-Being Index measurement tool from Page (2005) to measure the workplace well-being. The samples in this study were 140 company employees in Jakarta aged 15 to 65 years with minimum service period of 1 year. The result of hypothesis testing showed that the F count of 199.493 > F table 3.91 and p value 0.000 < ⍺ 0.005 which means that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Based on the result it can be concluded that there is a significant effect between perceived organizational support for workplace well-being on employees at work in Jakarta. This means that the better of employee’s perceptions or belief of how the organization appreciates their contribution, cared about, and take a responsibility for their well-being, the better workplace well-being they feel. The amount effect of perceived organizational support gives to workplace well-being is 59.1%.
