Abstract

Pemenuhan kebutuhan konsumsi secara tidak langsung berkaitan dengan kondisi status sosial ekonomi. Skripsi ini dibuat untuk mengukur tingkat pengaruh status sosial ekonomi terhadap pola konsumsi leisure generasi milenial di Kota Tangerang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei dengan lokasi penelitian di kota Tangerang. Adapun waktu penelitian adalah bulan April sampai dengan Juni. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan angket/ kuesioner, disamping itu juga dilakukan pengamatan dan studi literatur. Populasi diambil berdasarkan data BPS Kota Tangerang 2017 sehingga didapatkan populasi berjumlah 840.996. Populasi lalu dilakukan sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling untuk kepentingan uji coba instrumen penelitian dengan menggunakan rumus slovin, sehingga didapat jumlah sampel yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebesar 100 orang. Untuk menentukan besarnya sampel pada setiap kecamatan dilakukan dengan alokasi proporsional agar sampel yang diambil lebih proporsional, hal ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh antara status sosial ekonomi terhadap pola konsumsi leisure generasi milenial di kota Tangerang. Berdasarkan pada koefisien determinasi menunjukkan nilai Nagelkerke pada Pseudo R-Square sebesar 0,18 yang artinya variabel status sosial ekonomi memiliki pengaruh atas variabel pola konsumsi leisure hanya sebesar 1,8%, sedangkan 98,2% lainnya disebabkan oleh faktor lain variabel status sosial ekonomi. Fulfilling consumption needs are indirectly related to the condition of socio- economic status. This thesis is made to measure the level of influence of socioeconomic status on the leisure consumption pattern of the millennial generation in Tangerang City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method with a research location in the city of Tangerang. The research time is from April to June. The data collection technique is done using a questionnaire besides that, observation and literature study is also carried out. The population was taken based on data from BPS Kota Tangerang 2017 so that the population was 840,996. The population was then sampled with a purposive sampling technique to test the research instrument using the Slovin formula so that the number of samples to be used in this study was 100 people. To determine the size of the sample in each district, proportional allocation is carried out so that the sample taken is more proportional, this is done using the Slovin formula. The results showed that there was no influence between socioeconomic status on the leisure consumption pattern of the millennial generation in the city of Tangerang. Based on the coefficient of determination, Nagelkerke's value on the Pseudo R-Square is 0.18, which means that the socio-economic status variable influences the recreation consumption pattern variable by only 1.8%, while the other 98.2% is caused by other factors. , socioeconomic status variables.
