Abstract

Skripsi ini berjudul “CT Skills in 21st Cultural Studies: Need Analysis”.Yang dalam penulisannya menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan Need Analysis. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah : (1) Indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis apa saja yang ada untuk diakomodasikan ke dalam silabus studi kajian budaya pada ketiga program studi sastra Inggris di Indonesia?, (2) Indikator apa saja yang perlu digabungkan ke dalam silabus studi kajian budaya yang terkait dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis abad ke-21?, dan (3) Indikator apa yang dibutuhkan untuk mengembangkan silabus studi budaya Sastra Inggris UNJ terkait keterampilan berpikir kritis?. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa, ketiganya sudah memenuhi dalam kompenen silabus berdasarkan Permendikbud Nomer 49 Tahun 2014, dan ditemukan keterampilan berpikir kritis dominan pada capaian pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran, dan penilaian. Namun demikian, sejumlah indikator dan sub-indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis abad ke-21 yang mencakup reason effectively, use system thinking, make judgement and decision, dan solve problems masih perlu digali dan dintegrasikan untuk mengembangkan silabus yang ada agar lulusan benar-benar memiliki keterampilan berpikir kritis tersebut. This study is entitled "CT Skills in the 21st Cultural Study: Need Analysis". Which in its writing uses qualitative research methods through Need Analysis. The research question in this study are : (1) What indicators of CT Skills are existing to be accommodated in cultural studies syllabus of 3 English literature study program in Indonesia?, (2) What indicators are needed to be merge in 21St cultural studies syllabuses related to CT skills?,(3) What indicators are needed to develop the existing cultural studies syllabus of English Literature UNJ related to CT skills?. From this study found that, the three public universities in Indonesia, the syllabus component of each university is sufficiently worthy relate to Permendikbud Number 49 (2014), and was found the dominant critical thinking skills in learning outcomes, learning methods, and assessment. However, a number of indicators and sub-indicators of CT skills in the 21st century include reason effectively, use system thinking, make judgment and decision, and solve problems still need to be explored and integrated to develop the existing syllabus, therefore the graduates truly have the critical thinking skills.
