Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui isi serta pola hubungan pengguna twitter terhadap perilaku panic buying di masa pandemi COVID-19 dan bagaimana strategi coping mereka dalam menghadapinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode social network analysis dalam pengambilan datanya menggunakan aplikasi MAXQDA 2018. Data yang didapatkan berupa unggahan tweets yang kemudian di analisis pola hubungannya menggunakan aplikasi gephi 0.9.2 dan menghasilkan nodes yang saling terhubung dengan edges. Hasil dari data yang didapatkan diantara lain deskriptif data, hasil perhitungan statistik, hasil labeling dari clustering, dan pembagian pembahasan kelompok sesuai modularity classnya. Kemudian pembahasan ini dikaitkan dengan strategi coping para penggunanya dalam bentuk problem-focused coping dan emotion-focused coping secara subjektif. This study aims to determine the content and patterns of the relationship of Twitter users to panic buying behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic and how their coping strategies in dealing with it. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with social network analysis methods in data retrieval using the MAXQDA 2018 application. The data obtained are tweets uploads which are then analyzed for relationship patterns using the Gephi 0.9.2 application and produce nodes that are connected to edges. The results of the data obtained include descriptive data, statistical calculation results, the results of the labeling of the clustering, and the division of discussion according to the modularity class. Then this discussion is related to the coping strategies of its users in the form of problem-focused coping and emotionfocused coping subjectively.
