Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan menggambarkan peran komite sekolah dalam perencanaan pendidikan, yang difokuskan pada : analisis kebutuhan, penetapan tujuan sasaran, serta penetapan monitoring dan evaluasi keberhasilan perencanaan di Sekolah Dasar (SD) wilayah kelurahan Rawamangun. Penelitian menggunakan metoda deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, kuesioner terbuka dan studi dokumentatif. Responden terdiri dari Kepala Sekolah, dan pengurus Komite Sekolah dari 3 Sekolah Dasar Negeri dan 3 Sekolah Dasar Swasta di wilayah Kelurahan Rawamangun. Hasil penelitian ini penunjukan bahwa peran Komite Sekolah pada Perencanaan pendidikan memiliki porsi yang berbeda-beda di setiap sekolah. perbedaan porsi ini dapat dapat diketahi dengan melihat pada tahap apa saja masing-masing komite Sekolah ikut terlibat serta peran apa saja yang mereka laksanakan dan bagaimana mereka melaksanakan perannya pada setiap tahapan, perbedaan porsi peran ini ditentukan oleh kebijakan yang ditetapkan masing masing sekolah dasar. Pada sekolah dasar swasta penetapan kebijakan menjadi tanggungjawab kepala sekolah bersama dengan pihak yayasan. Sedangkan pada sekolah dasar negeri penetapan kebijakan tersebut menjadi tanggungjawab kepala sekolah saja. Oleh karena itu ada perbedaan dalam keleluasaan berperan antara Sekolah Dasar Negeri dan Sekolah dasar Swasta The study aims to describe the role of school committees in educational planning, which is focused on: needs analysis, setting goals, and establishing monitoring and evaluating the success of planning in elementary schools in Kelurahan Rawamangun. Research using descriptive methods with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, open questionnaires and documentative studies. The respondent consists of the Principal, and administrators of the School Committees of 3 Public Elementary Schools and 3 Private Elementary Schools in Kelurahan Rawamangun. The results of this study indicate that the role of the School Committee in education planning has a different portion in each school. This difference in portions can be identified by looking at what stages each school committee is involved in and what roles they carry out and how they carry out their roles at each stage, the difference in the portion of these roles is determined by the policies set by each primary school. In private primary schools, policy-making is the responsibility of the principal together with the foundation. Meanwhile, in public elementary schools, the determination of this policy is the responsibility of the school principal only. Therefore there is a difference in the flexibility to play between Public Elementary Schools and Private Primary Schools
