Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMKN 48 Jakarta yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen praktik kerja lapangan pada kompetensi keahlian bisnis daring dan pemasaran berbasis pendidikan karakter di SMKN 48 Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2019 sampai April 2020. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah: wakil ks. Bid. humas, ketua kompetensi keahlian bisnis daring dan pemasaran, dan beberapa informan yang mendukung. Manajemen praktik kerja lapangan pada kompetensi keahlian bisnis daring dan pemasaran/ BDP dilakukan oleh ketua kompetensi keahlian dan para guru muatan kejuruan BDP. Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) merupakan hal yang istimewa pada jenjang Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Hal ini didukung oleh revolusi 4.0 dimana sumber daya manusia unggul dan berdaya saing yang dapat eksis. PKL memberikan kesempatan untuk menginternalisasi nilai-nilai positif “keduniakerjaan” dalam membangun pribadi yang berkarakter. Karakter sosial yang tidak berkarakter merupakan hasil dari belum optimalnya pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter. Oleh sebab itu, sekolah perlu memuat nilai-nilai karakter yang diharapkan muncul/ berkembang selama PKL. Pendidikan karakter merupakan hal penting agar menjadikan individu yang berkarakter baik. Sekolah menjalin kerja sama dengan beberapa perusahaan sebagai upaya menciptakan lulusan yang sesuai dengan standar dunia usaha/ dunia industri (DU/ DI). BDP mengelola PKL dengan mempersiapkan secara matang perencanaan sampai pengawasannya. Kata Kunci: Manajemen, Praktik Kerja Lapangan, Pendidikan Karakter. This research was conducted at SMKN 48 Jakarta which aims to understand the management of field work practices on business skills and marketing competencies based on character education at SMKN 48 Jakarta. This research was conducted in December 2019 until April 2020. Researchers used qualitative descriptive methods. Data collected through interviews, observation, and study documentation. Data sources from this study are: representatives of vice principle of public relations, head of business and marketing expertise/ BME competencies, and several supporting informants. BME is carried out by the expertise competency chair and BME vocational content teachers. Field Work Practices (FWP) are special at the Vocational High School (VHS) `level. This is supported by the 4.0 revolution where superior and competitive human resources can exist. FWP provide opportunities to internalize positive values of "workforce" in building personal character. Uncharacterized social character is the result of suboptimal implementation of character education. Therefore, schools need to issue character values that are expected to emerge / develop during FWP. Character education is important so that individuals with good character. The school collaborates with several companies in an effort to develop studies that are in line with business world standards. BME manages FWP carefully from planning till supervision.
