Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat sense of humor pada Comic di komunitas stand up comedy JABODETABEK ditengah pandemi virus COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel berupa purposive sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk mengukur sense of humor adalah MSHS (Multidimensional Sense of Humor Scale) yang merupakan skala multidimensional yang paling banyak digunakan untuk mengukur sense of humor. Skala ini dibuat oleh Thorson dan Powell dan terdiri dari 24 item. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan kepada 100 orang Comic yang berada di JABODETABEK menunjukan hasil bahwa 98% atau sama dengan 98 responden memiliki tingkat sense of humor dalam kategori tinggi meskipun berada dalam pandemi COVID-19. This study aims to determine the level of sense of humor in Comics in the stand up comedy community JABODETABEK amid the COVID-19 virus pandemic. This research uses quantitative methods with a sampling technique in the form of purposive sampling. The measuring instrument used to measure sense of humor is MSHS (Multidimensional Sense of Humor Scale) which is the most widely used multidimensional scale for measuring sense of humor. This scale was made by Thorson and Powell and consists of 24 items. The results of research conducted on 100 Comics in JABODETABEK showed that 98% or equal to 98 respondents had a high level of sense of humor in the category despite being in a COVID-19 pandemic.
