Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan dan memperoleh gambaran tentang pemeliharaan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan di SMP Putra 1 Jakarta.. Jenis pendekatan penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Putra 1 Jakarta selama bulan Januari 2020 – Juli 2020. Informan penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang sarana dan prasarana, karyawan penunjang bagian pemeliharaan, dan siswa SMP Putra 1 Jakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan. Teknik keabsahan dengan triangulasi sumber, metode, dan teori. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan pemeliharaan yang dilakukan SMP Putra diawali dengan mengadakan rapat kerja, kemudian pemeliharaan dikategorikan menjadi dua yaitu pemeliharaan berkala dan rutin. Setelah menentukan kegiatan pemeliharaan berdasarkan kategorinya baru disusun anggarannya selama satu tahun. Setelah itu pembentukan struktur pemeliharaan sarana dan prasarana beserta jobdesk masing-masing di tiap bagiannya yang dipilih langsung oleh wakil bidang sarana dan prasarana dan diketahui oleh kepala sekolah. Langkah terakhir adalah sosialisasi kepada siswa di sekolah. (2) Proses dan Teknik pemeliharaan yang dilakukan sekolah mulai dari pemeliharaan berdasarkan kurun waktu yaitu ada pemeliharaan berkala dan rutin, pemeliharaan rutin yang dilakukan oleh sekolah adalah pemeliharaan ruangan kelas, dan ruangan guru dan ruang-ruang khusus seperti perpustakaan, lab komputer dan lab IPA. Kemudian pemeliharaan berkala yang dilakukan oleh sekolah adalah pemeliharaan AC, printer, mesin fotocopy, dan update software komputer. (3) Hambatan yang dialami oleh sekolah dalam perencanaan pemeliharaan sarana dan prasarana antara lain terdapat hal-hal yang tak terduga dan harus dilakukan perbaikan segera pada sarana tersebut. Kemudian hambatan proses dan teknik yang dialami antara lain masih kurangnya kesadaran dari pengguna sarana dan prasarana sekolah, ada rekanan dengan pihak luar terkadang suka kurang responsive, kemudian perbedaan budaya antar sesama individu dalam penggunaan sarana dan prasarana. This Research aims to find and obtain an overview of the maintenance of educational facilities and infrastructure in Putra 1 Junior High School Jakarta. The type of research approach is descriptive qualitative. The research was conducted at the Putra 1 Junior High School in Jakarta during December 2019 - July 2020. The research informants were the school principal, deputy headmaster in the field of facilities and infrastructure, maintenance support staff, and students of Putra 1 Junior High School Jakarta. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation studies. The collected data is then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The validity technique with triangulation of sources, methods, and theories. The results of the study show that: (1) Maintenance planning carried out by Putra 1 Junior High School begins with holding a work meeting, then maintenance is categorized into two, namely regular and routine maintenance. After determining maintenance activities based on their categories, a budget is prepared for one year. After that the establishment of the structure of maintenance of facilities and infrastructure along with their respective jobdesk in each section are directly selected by the representatives of the facilities and infrastructure sector and are known by the school principal. The last step is socialization to students at school. (2) Maintenance processes and techniques carried out by schools starting from maintenance based on a period of time, namely periodic and routine maintenance, routine maintenance carried out by schools is the maintenance of classrooms, and teacher's rooms and special rooms such as libraries, computer labs and science labs . Then periodic maintenance carried out by the school is the maintenance of air conditioners, printers, photocopiers, and computer software updates. (3) Obstacles experienced by schools in planning the maintenance of facilities and infrastructure, among others, there are things that are unexpected and must be immediately repaired at the facility. Then the process and technical obstacles experienced include the lack of awareness of the users of school facilities and infrastructure, there are partners with outsiders who sometimes like to be less responsive, then cultural differences among individuals in the use of facilities and infrastructure.
