Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola asuh orangtua dan self-compassion remaja yang melakukan self-harm. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan mengggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah remaja. Sampel pada penelitian ini mengambil 113 remaja yang melakukan self-harm. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Parental Style Scale (PSS) oleh Abdul Gafoor dan Abidha Kurukkan untuk mengukur pola asuh orangtua, Self-Compassion Scale (SCS) oleh dr. Kristin Neff untuk mengukur self-compassion, dan Self-Harm Inventory (SHI) untuk mengukur remaja yang melakukan self-harm. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji hipotesis menggunakan teknik korelasi pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai p signifikansi 0,029 < 0,05 pada pola asuh ayah pengabaian yang menandakan bahwa pola asuh ayah pengabaian memiliki hubungan dengan self-compassion remaja yang melakukan self-harm, sedangkan tipe pola asuh ayah lainnya dan semua tipe pola asuh ibu tidak memiliki hubungan dengan self-compassion remaja yang melakukan self-harm. ********************* This study was aimed at finding out the relationship between parenting style and self compassion of adolescent who commit self-harm. This is a quantitative research that uses questionnaire to collect data. The population in this research is adolescent. The sample of this research took 113 adolescents who commit selfharm. The instrument used in this research were the Parental Style Scale (PSS) by Abdul Gafoor and Abidha Kurukkan to measure parenting style, the Self- Compassion Scale (SCS) by dr. Kristin Neff to measure self-compassion, and the Self-Harm Inventory (SHI) to measure the adolescent who committed self-harm. The data analysis method used in this research was hypothesis testing using the pears-on product moment correlation technique. The result of this research showed p-value significance 0,029 < 0,05 for neglecting father’s parenting style which indicated that neglecting father’s parenting style has a relationship with selfcompassion of adolescent who commit self-harm, while other types of father's parenting style and all types of mother's parenting style have no relationship with self-compassion of adolescent who commit self-harm.
