Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Labschool Jakarta, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan, pelaksanaan serta evaluasi pendidikan karakter cinta tanah air. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Februari 2020 hingga Agustus 2020. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) proses awal perencanaan pendidikan karakter cinta tanah air diawali dengan menganalisis kebutuhan untuk menanamkan karakter yang mengandung nilai cinta tanah air. Setelah itu, berdasarkan rapat dewan guru, merumuskan kegiatan, pembelajaran serta pembiasaan yang berkaitan dengan karakter cinta tanah air untuk dikembangkan. Kemudian, sekolah bekerjasama dengan pihak yang terkait dalam mendukung suatu program atau kegiatan, program ini dibuat atas dasar kebutuhan. Selanjutnya, mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter cinta tanah air di sekolah melalui kegiatan, selain itu juga bisa melalui pembelajaran, pembiasaan yang ada disekolah. (2) pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter cinta tanah air dilakukan melalui pembelajaran, pembiasaan dan juga kegiatan sebagai penguatan. Dalam pembelajaran diberikan melalui mata pelajaran yang dikaitkan dengan materi-materi yang berhubungan cinta tanah air, khususnya pada mata pelajaran PPKn, IPS. Kemudian, pada pembiasaan sehari-hari selalu menyanyikan lagu nasional sebelum memulai pelajaran, memperingati hari besar nasional, lalu ada kegiatan lintas juang di hari-hari besar nasional biasanya saat 17 Agustus, Sedangkan melalui kegiatan, salah satunya kegiatan yang menanamkan karakter cinta tanah air SAKSI (Studi dan Apresiasi Kepemimpinan Siswa Indonesia), cultural immersion, kunjungan museum, PASKIBRA, misi budaya, study visit hingga pramuka. (3) evaluasi pendidikan karakter cinta tanah air diawali dengan pengamatan oleh tim evaluasi. Setelah itu, membuat laporan dan masukan dari tim evaluasi terkait pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter cinta tanah air. Selanjutnya, menindaklanjuti dan meningkatkan hasil dari evaluasi penerapan pendidikan karakter cinta tanah air. Kata kunci: Manajemen Pendidikan Karakter, Cinta Tanah Air. This research was conducted at SMP Labschool Jakarta, which aims to plannning, implementation and evaluation of character education of nationalism. This research was conducted from February 2020 to August 2020. Researchers used a qualitative approach and descriptive methods. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation study. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the initial process of planning the character education for the nationalism begins with analyzing the need to instill a character that contains the value of nationalism. After that, based on the teacher council meeting, formulate activities, lessons and habits related to the character of nationalism to be developed. Then, this school with related parties in supporting a program or activity, this program is made on the basis of need. Furthermore, implementing land-loving character education in schools through activities, besides that it can also be through learning, habits that exist in school. (2) the implementation of land love character education is carried out through learning, habits and activities as reinforcement. In learning that is given through subjects related to materials related to the nationalism, especially in PPKn, Social Studies subjects. Then, in the daily habit of always singing the national song before starting lessons, commemorating national holidays, then there are cross-fighting activities on national holidays usually on August 17, while through activities, one of which is an activity that instills the character of nationalism of SAKSI (Study and Appreciation of Indonesian Student Leadership), cultural immersion, museum visits, PASKIBRA, cultural missions, study visits to scouts. (3) evaluation of character education for the nationalism begins with observations by the evaluation team. After that, make a report and input from the evaluation team on the implementation of character education for the nationalism. Next, follow up and improve the results of the evaluation of the application of character education for the nationalism. Keywords: Character Education Management, Nationalism.
