Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Team Games Tournament learning model, Number Head Together on the ability to write short stories for grade IX students at SMPN 99 Jakarta, located on Jalan Sirap, Kayu Putih, East Jakarta in the 2018/2019 academic year. The subjects of this study consisted of 60 students were divided into two classes (N = 30 for the TGT class and N = 30 for the NHT class. This study used a quantitative method with an experimental research design and a 2X2 factorial design. who learn with NHT. This is evidenced by the significance for the learning model 0.000 <0.05 then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted Second, the ability to think creatively affects the ability to write short story texts, with sig for the learning model 0.000 <0.05 then Ho rejected and H1 is accepted Third, there is a verysignificant interaction between the buyer model teaching and creative thinking skills, 0.039 <0.05 then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. So, it can be concluded that the Team Games Tournament has a significant effect on the ability to write short stories from Grade IX students compared to Number Head Together. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament, Number Head Together terhadap kemampuan menulis teks cerpen siswa kelas IX di SMPN 99 Jakarta yang berlokasi di Jalan Sirap, Kayu Putih, Jakarta Timur pada tahun akademik 2018 / 2019. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 60 siswa yang dibagi menjadi dua kelas (N = 30 untuk kelas TGT dan N = 30 untuk kelas NHT. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian eksperimenta l dan desain faktorial 2X2. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menulis teks cerpen siswa dengan TGT lebih tinggi daripada mereka yang belajar dengan NHT. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan signifikansi untuk model pembelajaran 0,000 < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Kedua, kemampuan berpikir kreatif berpengaruh pada kemampuan menulis teks cerpen siswa, dengan sig untuk model pembelajaran 0,000 < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Ketiga, terdapat interaksi yang sangat signifikan antara model pembelajaran dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif, 0,039 < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Maka, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Team Games Tournament sangat berpengaruh secara signifikan dibandingkan Number Head Together terhadap kemampuan menulis teks cerpen siswa kelas IX.
