Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ciri-ciri kecerdasan interpersonal yang tampak pada siswa sekolah dasar (yang dibagi menjadi dua yaitu siswa kelas rendah dan kelas tinggi) di SD Waskito, serta mengetahui upaya apa yang telah dilakukan pihak sekolah maupun guru kelas dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan interpersonal siswanya. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi Sekolah Dasar Waskito tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode etnografi. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi yang berkaitan dengan kecerdasan interpersonal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kecerdasan interpersonal yang dimiliki oleh siswa kelas rendah dan tinggi. Diantaranya siswa kelas rendah cenderung memiliki sikap cuek terhadap teman yang duduk satu kelompok dengannya. Sedangkan siswa kelas tinggi sudah memiliki sikap peka terhadap lingkungan kelompoknya. Kata Kunci: Kecerdasan, Kecerdasan Interpersonal, Siswa Sekolah Dasar *********** This research aims to know the characteristics of interpersonal intelligence seen in elementary school students (which are divided into two, namely low and high grade students) in Waskito Elementary School, as well as to know what efforts the school and the class teacher have made in developing the interpersonal intelligence of their students. The subjects in this study were students of Waskito Elementary School in the 2019/2020 school year. This research is qualitative research with ethnographic methods. The data collection instruments used are observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation related to interpersonal intelligence. The results showed that there were differences in interpersonal intelligence possessed by low and high grade students. Among them, low-grade students tend to have a indifferent attitude towards friends who sit in a group with them. Meanwhile, high school students already have a sensitive attitude towards the environment of their group. Keyword: Intelligence, Interpersonal Intelligence, Elementary School Students
