Abstract

Penelitian korelasi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan sikap peduli lingkungan dalam muatan IPA SD siswa kelas V di Kelurahan Petukangan Utara Jakarta Selatan. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Petukangan Utara 05 Pagi dan siswa kelas V SDN Petukangan Utara 10 Pagi dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner untuk mengukur variabel kecerdasan emosional dan variabel sikap peduli lingkungan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan sikap peduli lingkungan. Sumbangan efektif yang diberikan oleh variabel kecerdasan emosional terhadap variabel sikap peduli lingkungan adalah sebesar 53,01% dan sisanya sebesar 46,99% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. *********** This study aims to determine the correlation between emotional intelligence and environmental awareness of natural science of 5th grade students in elementary school at Kelurahan Petukangan Utara Jakarta Selatan. The sample of this study are 5th grade students at SDN Petukangan Utara 05 Pagi and 5th grade students at SDN Petukangan Utara 10 Pagi by using cluster random sampling technique. The instrument used by a questionnaire to measure the variables of emotional intelligence and variables of environmental awareness.The data analysis technique used is Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis. The results of data analyzed shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence with an environmental awareness. The effective contribution made by the variable of emotional intelligence to the variable of environmental awareness is 53.01% and the remaining 46.99% is influenced by other factors.
