Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh status sosial ekonomi, keterlibatan orang tua dan status gizi terhadap kesiapan sekolah anak TK Kelas B di DKI Jakarta sebanyak 109 anak yang ditentukan dengan metode multistage cluster random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif asosiatif dengan teknik analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) terdapat pengaruh langsung status sosial ekonomi terhadap keterlibatan orang tua, (2) terdapat pengaruh langsung status sosial ekonomi terhadap status gizi anak, (3) terdapat pengaruh langsung status sosial ekonomi terhadap kesiapan sekolah anak, (4) terdapat pengaruh langsung keterlibatan orang tua terhadap status gizi anak, (5) terdapat pengaruh langsung keterlibatan orang tua terhadap kesiapan sekolah anak, (6) terdapat pengaruh langsung status gizi anak terhadap kesiapan sekolah anak. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah bahwa kesiapan sekolah anak dipengaruhi secara langsung positif oleh status sosial ekonomi, keterlibatan orang tua dan status gizi anak. Artinya semakin baik status sosial ekonomi, keterlibatan orang tua dan status gizi anak akan semakin memberikan dampak positif terhadap kesiapan sekolah anak. Pengaruh tidak langsung status sosial ekonomi terhadap kesiapan sekolah anak melalui keterlibatan orang tua berpengaruh lebih besar. ************* The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of socioeconomic status, parental involvement and nutritional status on the readiness of Kindergarten Class B children in DKI Jakarta, as many as 109 children were determined by the multistage cluster random sampling method. This study uses an associative quantitative approach with path analysis techniques.The results showed: (1) there is a direct effect of socioeconomic status on parental involvement, (2) there is a direct influence of socioeconomic status on children's nutritional status, (3) there is a direct influenceof socioeconomic status on children's school readiness, (4) direct influence of parental involvement on children's nutritional status, (5) there is direct influence of parental involvement on children's school readiness, (6) there is a direct effect of children's nutritional status on children's school readinessThe conclusion of the study is that children's school readiness is directly affected positively by socioeconomic status, parental involvement and children's nutritional status. This means that the better the socioeconomic status, the involvement of parents and the nutritional status of children, the more positive impacts on children's school readiness. The indirect effect of socioeconomic status on children's school readiness through the involvementof parents has a greater effect.
