Abstract

Biologi merupakan ilmu kontekstual yang mempelajari makhluk hidup. Untuk mempelajari Biologi dibutuhkan kemampuan literasi Biologi. Kemampuan literasi Biologi siswa di Indonesia masih tergolong rendah. Menggunakan tujuan literasi Biologi dapat untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan perspektif tentang Biologi. Literasi Biologi dapat dipelajari dari tulisan yang memiliki bahasa yang tinggi seperti buku pelajaran Biologi sekolah dan perguruan tinggi. Selain itu salah satu caranya adalah menggunakan modul elektronik sebagai media pelengkap untuk pembelajaran sistem respirasi untuk meningkatkan literasi Biologi siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini berdasarkan analiasis kebutuhan dan potensi media elektronik adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran eM-Respiropedia untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi Biologi siswa pada materi sistem respirasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (RnD) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang memiliki beberapa tahap, yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation, serta uji efektivitas produk. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 102 Jakarta pada bulan April-Mei 2020. Subjek uji penelitian meliputi ahli materi dan bahasa serta ahli media, 30 peserta didik kelompok kecil, 62 peserta didik kelompok besar, dan guru biologi. Analisis data yang didapat adalah normal, homogen dan tolak H0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa eM-Respiropedia mendapatkan skor rata-rata 3,46 dengan kategori sangat layak digunakan. Rata-rata skor pre test dan post test adalah 43,17 dan 86,72. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa eM-Respiropedia layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dan dapat memberikan peningkatan terhadap kemampuan literasi Biologi siswa dalam memahami materi sistem respirasi Kata Kunci: ADDIE, literasi Biologi, modul elektronik, research & development. *********** Biology is a contextual science that studies living things. To study Biology, Biology literacy skills are needed. Biology literacy ability of students in Indonesia is still relatively low. Using the purpose of Biology literacy can be to increase knowledge, understanding, and perspectives about Biology. Biology Literacy can be learned from writing that has high language such as school and college Biology textbooks. In addition, one way is to use electronic modules as a complementary medium for learning the respiration system to improve students' Biological literacy. The purpose of this study is based on the analysis of the needs and potential of electronic media is to develop eM-Respiropedia learning media to improve Biology literacy skills for students to understand the respiration system material. The research method used is Research and Development (RnD) with ADDIE development models that have several stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation, and product effectiveness testing. The study was conducted at SMA 102 Jakarta in April-May 2020. The research subjects included material and language experts and media experts, 30 small group students, 62 large group students, and biology teachers. Analysis of the data obtained is normal, homogeneous and reject H0. The results showed that eM-Respiropedia got an average score of 3.46 with the category very feasible to use. The average pre-test and post-test scores were 43.17 and 86.72. The conclusion of this study shows that eM-Respiropedia is appropriate to be used as a learning medium and can provide an increase in students' Biology literacy abilities in understanding the respiration system material Keywords: ADDIE, Biology literacy, electronic modules, research & development.
