Abstract

Animalia adalah salah satu materi dengan cakupan yang sangat luas karena didalamnya membahas berbagai konsep dasar klasifikasi makhluk hidup berdasarkan bentuk dan susunan tubuh pada setiap tingkat taksonomi, sehingga membutuhkan pemahaman konsep dalam mempelajarinya. Pada dasarnya, pemahaman konsep yang masih rendah menjadi salah satu kendalanya. Hal ini dapat teratasi dengan model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching terintegrasi mind mapping. Model ini membantu siswa memahami berbagai konsep melalui visualisasi gambar dan warna. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching terintegrasi mind mapping terhadap pemahaman konsep animalia. Penelitiannya dilakukan di SMAN 76 Jakarta dengan metode penelitian kuasi eksperimen dan desain penelitian posttest-only control. Sampel penelitian masing-masing berjumlah 31 siswa yang dipilih secara acak. Instumen berupa tes pemahaman konsep berjumlah 45 soal pilihan ganda. Data yang telah didapatkan akan dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas dari uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov dan uji homogenitas dari uji F dengan taraf signifikansi α = 0,05. Selanjutnya, pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t independen dengan taraf signifikansi α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching terintegrasi mind mapping terhadap pemahaman konsep animalia. Kata kunci: mind mapping, pemahaman konsep animalia, reciprocal teaching **************** Animalia is one material with a very broad scope because in it discuss various basic concepts of classification of living things based on the shape and composition of the body at each taxonomic level, so that requires understanding the concepts in learning. Basically, understanding concepts that are still low is one of the obstacles. This can be overcome with the integrated mind mapping teaching model of reciprocal teaching. This model helps students understand various concepts through visualization of images and colors. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the integrated reciprocal teaching learning model of mind mapping on understanding the concept of animalia. His research was conducted at SMAN 76 Jakarta with a quasi-experimental research method and a posttest-only control research design. Each research sample was 31 students chosen at random. The instruments in the form of concept comprehension tests were 45 multiple choice questions. The data that has been obtained will be analyzed using the normality test from the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and the homogeneity test from the F test with a significance level of α = 0.05. Furthermore, hypothesis testing uses an independent t test with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results showed that there was an influence of integrated mind mapping teaching model of reciprocal teaching on understanding animalia concepts.
