Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media video pembelajaran bahasa Arab bagi siswa kelas VII di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 31 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian gabungan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Peneliti telah melaksanakan seluruh tahap-tahap yang ada pada penelitian ini, yaitu dengan: 1) Analisis kebutuhan dari siswa kelas VII terhadap media video pembelajaran, 2) Desain media video pembelajaran, 3) Pengembangan produk berdasarkan hasil penilaian produk dari para ahli, 4) Mengimplementasikan produk media video pembelajaran secara langsung melalui kegiatan praktik keterampilan mengajar, dan 5) Mengevaluasi media video pembelajaran berdasarkan respons siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu: observasi berpartisipasi, wawancara tidak terstruktur dan kuesioner. Berdasarkan kesimpulan data penelitian, peneliti memperoleh: 1) Analisis kebutuhan dari 50 siswa kelas VII MTs Negeri 31 Jakarta, menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 32 siswa/I (64%) membutuhkan media pembelajaran lain dalam belajar bahasa Arab dan sebanyak 48 siswa/i (96%) merasa senang dan tertarik dengan adanya media belajar yang lebih kreatif dan inovatif seperti video. Maka itu diperlukan adanya pengembangan media video pembelajaran. 2) Pengembangan media video pembelajaran bahasa Arab berdasarkan penilaian dari para ahli memperoleh nilai total 4,61 dengan kategori sangat layak (92%) oleh ahli materi, dan memperoleh nilai total 4,85 dengan kategori sangat layak (97%) oleh ahli media. 3) Evaluasi respons siswa setelah menggunakan media video pembelajaran memperoleh nilai total 3,4 dengan kategori sangat positif. Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa media ini sangat layak (85%) bagi siswa. Maka dari itu, media video pembelajaran bahasa Arab ini dinyatakan sangat layak untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran bahasa Arab bagi kelas VII MTs Negeri 31 Jakarta The purpose ofthis research was to develop avideo media of Arabic language learning for Students in Grade VII at 31 Junior High Islamic School Jakarta. The method used in this study is a Research and Development (R&D) method based on the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The researcher has conducted each stage consisting of five stages, namely: 1) Analysis of the needs of grade VII students of junior high islamic school in Arabic lessons, 2) Designed learningvideomedia, 3) Develop Product based on Product assessment results by expert review, 4) Implement video learning media products directly with grade VII studentsthrough teaching skills practice activities, 5) Evaluatelearningvideomediabased on student’s response.‌Data collection techniques used in this study isobservation by participating, unstructured interviews and questionnaires.Based on the result of the research data, researchers obtainedthat:1) Analysis of needs of 50 students ingrade VIIat 31 Junior High Islamic School Jakarta, indicate that as many as 32 students (64%) need other learning mediaand as many as 48 students(96%) feel happy and interested in the existence of more creative and innovative learning media in the learning process, then the learning video media is needed.2) Development ofArabic language learning video media based on assessment from experts obtained a total score of 4,61 with the category very feasible(92%) by material experts, and obtained a total score of 4,85 with the category very feasible(97%) by media experts. 3) Evaluation of student response after using learning video media obtained a total score of 3.4 with a very positivecategory. Researchers concluded that this learning video media is very feasible (85%) for students.Therefore, the video media of Arabic language learning is declared very feasibleto be used in Arabic language learning activities for grade VII at 31 Junior High Islamic School Jakarta.
