Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kualitas lulusan Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Rias dan relevansi kurikulum Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Rias dengan bidang Pekerjaan Pendidikan Formal, guna untuk mengembangkan dan memperbaiki kurikulum Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Rias yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dibidang Pekerjaan Pendidikan Formal. Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah Provinsi Sumatra Barat, Bengkulu, Banten, DKI Jakarta, Jawa Tengah, D.I Yogyakarta, Jawa Timur, dan Kepulauan Maluku. Subjek penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah lulusan Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Rias (S1), yang bekerja pada bidang Pendidikan Formal. Pada penelitian ini metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei, dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa lulusan Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Rias telah memiliki kompetensi yang baik untuk bekerja dibidang Pendidikan Formal. Sesuai dengan masa tunggu 88% lulusan telah mendapatkan pekerjaan kurang dari 6 bulan, dengan penghasilan pertama sebagian besar antara Rp. 1.000.000 - Rp. 3.000.000 dan memiliki peluang kerja dibidang pendidikan sebesar 67% bagi lulusan. Kesesuaian pekerjaan dengan latar belakang pendidikan sebesar 94% lulusan mengatakan sangat sesuai. Sebesar 56% lulusan mengatakan kurikulum sudah sangat sesuai untuk memiliki sikap profesional didunia kerja bidang pendidikan dan sebesar 39% lulusan menyatakan bahwa perkembangan kurikulum sudah berdasarkan kompetensi yang dihasilkan. This research aims to determine the quality Graduates of Cosmetology Education and curriculum relevance Cosmetology Vocational Education with The Field of Formal Education Jobs, in order to develop and improve curriculum of Cosmetology Education which is in accordance with the requirements in The Field of Formal Education Jobs. This research was conducted in the province of Sumatra, Bengkulu, Banten, Jakarta Capital Special Region, Central Java, Special Region of Yogyakarta, East Java and Maluku islands. This research subjects in this study were graduates of Cosmetology Vocational Education with The Field of Formal Education Jobs. In this study the research method use was a survey method with the qualitative descriptive approach. The results showed that graduates of Cosmetology Vocational Education already have good competence to work in The Field of Formal Education Jobs. Appropriate waiting period amounted to 88% of graduates obtaining first job less than 6 months, with the first income mostly between Rp. 1.000.000 - Rp. 3.000.000 and have employment opportunities in education 67% for graduates. Suitability of work in educational background, 94% graduates said very suitable. 56% graduates said, the curriculum is very suitable to have a professional in the word of work in Education and 39% graduates said that the development of curriculum was based on the resulting competencies.
