Abstract

Kemajuan era global membuat masyarakat harus mampu bertahan hidup. Penurunan daya saing di Indonesia, membuat masyarakatnya sulit untuk bertahan hidup. Sehingga, dibutuhkan peningkatan daya saing dengan bantuan lembaga pendidikan mutu. Salah satu lembaga pendidikan mutu yang masih berjalan yaitu LPP Trisna Ayu di kota Subulussalam, Provinsi Aceh. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan menjelaskan tentang keefektifitasan pemanfaatan Dana Alokasi Khusus (DAK) untuk penyelenggaraan pendidikan kemampuan kecakapan hidup (Life Skill) peserta didik di LPP Trisna Ayu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data diambil dengan melakukan observasi dan wawancara mendalam, serta menggunakan studi dokumentasi. Subjek atau informan dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik, tenaga pendidik, serta kepala pimpinan LPP Trisna Ayu. Hasil penelitian yang ditemukan yaitu menunjukkan Pemanfaatan Dana Alokasi Khusus (DAK) yang di gunakan LPP Trisna Ayu Kota Subulussalam, Provinsi Aceh sudah efektif. Terlihat dari para peserta didik yang memiliki kemampuan baru yang dapat digunakan untuk bertahan hidup dan bersaing di era global, seperti membuka usaha sendiri dan juga menjalankan program magang. The progress of the global era makes people have to be able to survive. Decreasing competitiveness in Indonesia makes it difficult for people to survive. So, it takes an increase in competitiveness with the help of quality education institutions. One of the quality education institutions that is still running is LPP Trisna Ayu in the city of Subulussalam, Aceh Province. The purpose of this study was to identify and explain the effectiveness of the use of the Special Allocation Fund (DAK) for the provision of life skills education for students at LPP Trisna Ayu. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques were taken by conducting in-depth observations and interviews, and using documentation studies. Subjects or informants in this study were students, educators, and the head of the LPP, Trisna Ayu. The results of the study showed that the use of the Special Allocation Fund (DAK) used by LPP Trisna Ayu, Subulussalam City, Aceh Province was effective. It can be seen from the students who have new abilities that can be used to survive and compete in the global era, such as opening their own business and also running an apprenticeship program.
