Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui eksistensi pada komunitas punk Taring Babi yang dapat bertahan dengan budaya punk mereka dan untuk mengetahui faktor pendorong komunitas ini dapat bertahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian Eksistensi Komunitas Punk Taring Babi di Gang Setiabudi Srengseng Sawah Jagakarsa Jakarta Selatan menyimpulkan: Komunitas Taring Babi merupakan komunitas punk yang hadir ditengah masyarakat. Kehadiran punk salalu dipandang sebelah mata oleh sebagian orang, namun komunitas Taring Babi mampu bertahan serta eksis ditengah masyarakat. Punk selalu menjunjung yang namanya kebebasan serta kemerdekaan dalam hidup. Menolak yang namanya penindasan serta paksaan yang merenggut hak setiap orang. Selain eksistensi, ada beberapa faktor mengapa komunitas ini dapat bertahan yakni motivasi, solidaritas, ekonomi, lingkungan masyarakat, serta toleransi yang membuat hal ini komunitas Taring Babi bisa tetap eksis dalam masyarakat mereka tinggal. This study aims to determine the existence of the Taring Babi punk community that can survive their punk culture and to determine the driving factors for this community to survive. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research on the existence of the Taring Babi Punk Community in Setiabudi Gang Srengseng Sawah Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, concluded: The Taring Babi Community is a punk community that is present in the community. The presence of punk is always underestimated by some people, but the Taring Babi community is able to survive and exist in the community. Punk always upholds freedom and independence in life. Rejecting oppression and coercion that take everyone's rights. In addition to existence, there are several factors why this community can survive, namely motivation, solidarity, economy, community environment, and tolerance, which make this Pig Taring community can continue to exist in the community they live in.
