Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data empiris mengenai minat siswa IPS Kelas XI dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran sejarah di SMA Diponegoro 1 Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama sebelas bulan yang dimulai dari bulan Februari sampai dengan bulan Desember 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan teknik survei. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa IPS kelas XI di SMA Diponegoro 1 Jakarta yang terdiri dari kelas XI IPS 1, XI IPS 2, XI IPS 3 dan XI IPS 4 dengan jumlah secara keseluruhan sebanyak 100 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pengisian angket tertutup oleh siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa minat siswa IPS kelas XI dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran sejarah di SMA Diponegoro 1 Jakarta secara keseluruhan termasuk dalam kategori Tinggi yang didapat dari persentase rata-rata yang diambil dari keseluruhan aspek indikator yaitu 60 %. Hasil persentase dari penelitian ini dapat dilihat melalui empat indikator minat siswa, yaitu : Perasaan Senang atau Lebih Suka 68% (Tinggi), Perhatian Siswa 63% (Tinggi), Ketertarikan atau Kecenderungan Siswa 57% (Cukup) dan Keterlibatan Siswa 51% (Cukup). The Interest of the 11th Grade Social Studies Students in Achieving the Objectives of Learning History at Diponegoro 1 Jakarta Senior High School. This study aims to obtain empirical data about the interest of the 11th grade social studies students in achieving the objectives of learning history at Diponegoro 1 Jakarta Senior High School. This study was conducted for eleven months starting from February to December 2020. This study uses descriptive method with survey technique. The sample in this study is all of 11th grade social studies students at Diponegoro 1 Jakarta Senior High School which consists of class 11 IPS 1, 11 IPS 2, 11 IPS 3 and 11 IPS 4, with a total overall as much as 100 students. The data collection technique was carried out by filling out a closed questionnaire by students. The results of this study concluded that the interest of the 11th grade social studies students in achieving the objectives of learning history at Diponegoro 1 Jakarta Senior High School overall included in the High category which is obtained from the average percentage taken from all aspects of the indicator, that is 60%. The results of the percentage from this study can be seen through four indicators of student interest, that is : Feelings of Pleased or Preference 68% (High), Student Attention 63% (High), Student Interest or Inclination 57% (Enough), and Student Involvement 51% (Enough).
