Abstract
Penelitian ini memiliki dua tujuan utama, Pertama untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana latar belakang dibentuknya program pembelajaran pada bimbingan belajar PRIMAGAMA Cipondoh. dan Kedua, untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana proses komodifikasi program di bimbel PRIMAGAMA Cipondoh sehingga terbentuknya reproduksi kelas sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode studi kasus. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 6 informan kunci yaitu kepala cabang, staff administrasi, staff akademik, dan 3 pengajar di bimbel PRIMAGAMA Cipondoh, serta 3 orang siswa, dan 2 orang tua dari siswa yang bimbel di PRIMAGAMA Cipondoh sebagai data triangulasi. Waktu penelitian berlangsung dari bulan September-Oktober 2020. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lembaga bimbingan belajar PRIMAGAMA Cipondoh telah melakukan praktik komodifikasi. Aspek-aspek komodifikasi pada bimbel PRIMAGAMA Cipondoh diantaranya yaitu komodifikasi isi, Komodifikasi khalayak, dan Komodifikasi pengajar menggunakan grade. Semua hal tersebut dijadikan komoditas bagi pihak bimbel PRIMAGAMA Cipondoh yang dijual dengan harga yang cukup tinggi, sehingga dalam hal ini memberikan dampak terjadinya reproduksi kelas sosial terutama pada masyarakat menengah ke atas, karena hanya masyarakat kelas menengah atas sajalah yang dapat ikut dalam program yang ada di bimbel PRIMAGAMA Cipondoh disebabkan karena harga mahal yang ditawarkan oleh pihak bimbel. This research has two main objectives. First, to describe the background of the formation of the learning program in the PRIMAGAMA Cipondoh training program. and second, to describe how the process of program commodification in the PRIMAGAMA Cipondoh training program so that the formation of social class reproduction. This research uses a qualitative approach, with a case study method. The research data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study were 6 key informants, namely branch heads, administrative staff, academic staff, and 3 teachers in the PRIMAGAMA Cipondoh tutoring, as well as 3 students and 2 parents of students who tutored at PRIMAGAMA Cipondoh as triangulation data. The research time runs from September-October 2020. The results showed that the PRIMAGAMA Cipondoh tutoring agency had practiced commodification. The aspects of commodification in the PRIMAGAMA Cipondoh tutorial include content commodification, audience commodification, and teacher commodification using grades. All of these things are used as commodities for PRIMAGAMA Cipondoh tutors, which are sold at quite high prices, so that in this case it has an impact on the reproduction of social class, especially in the middle to upper society, because only the upper middle class can participate in the existing programs in PRIMAGAMA Cipondoh tutoring is due to the high price offered by the tutor.
