Abstract

Menjadi guru pendamping muda yang profesional diperlukannya kompetensi untuk mengukur pengetahuan, praktik serta penguasaan terhadap tugasnya. Untuk itu perlunya faktor-faktor yang dapat mendorong guru pendamping muda untuk menjadi guru yang berkompeten salah satunya yatitu latar belakang pendidikan serta rasa minat menjadi guru pendamping muda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latar belakang pendidikan dan minat terhadap kompetensi guru pendamping muda yang telah melaksanakan uji kompetensi di Lembaga Sertifikasi Kompetensi (LSK). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah ex post facto, data penelitian diuji dengan menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas yang dilanjutkan uji varians (ANAVA) dua jalur serta pengujian lanjutan dengan menggunakan uji Tukey. Responden penelitian adalah guru pendamping muda di Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat interaksi latar belakang pendidikan dan minat terhadap kompetensi guru pendamping muda berdasarkan hasil analisis varians nilai F hitung = 16,824 > F tabel = 4,08, pada taraf signifikan = 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh latar belakang pendidikan dan minat terhadap kompetensi guru pendamping muda. Kata Kunci: Latar Belakang Pendidikan, Minat, Kompetensi Guru Pendamping Muda ************ Being a professional young assistant teacher requires competence to measure knowledge, practice and mastery of their duties. For that we need factors that can encourage young assistant teacher to become competent teachers, one of which is their educational background and interest in becoming a young assistant teacher. This study aims to see the effect of educational background and interest on the competence of young assistant teachers who have carried out competency tests at the Lembaga Sertifikasi Kompetensi (LSK). The research method used was ex post facto, the data were tested using the normality test and the homogeneity test which carried out the two-way variance test (ANOVA) and the test using the Tukey test. Research respondents were young assistant teachers in DKI Jakarta Province. The results showed that the interaction of educational background and interest in the competence of young assistant teachers based on the results of the analysis of variance of the value of F count = 16.824> F table = 4.08, at the significant level = 0.05 so it can be concluded that there is an influence of educational background and interest on the competence of young assistant teachers.
