Abstract

Permasalahan lingkungan merupakan hal penting yang harus ditangani karena manusia memerlukan lingkungan dalam melangsungkan kehidupannya. Penanaman sikap peduli lingkungan di sekolah dapat diterapkan melalui pendidikan lingkungan hidup secara adil guna membentuk perilaku siswa berwawasan lingkungan. Atas permasalahan tersebut, maka penelitian ini dilakukan dengan bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah Procedural Justice dapat menjadi mediator yang baik antara Personality dengan Citizenship Behavior Toward Enviroment siswa. Metode survei dengan studi kausal dilakukan dengan memilih 74 siswa SMP Negeri di Jakarta secara acak. Ada empat instrumen yang diukur, yaitu Personality (25 butir, koefisien reliabilitas .859), Procedural Justice (24 butir, koefisien reliabilitas .866), dan CB Toward Enviroment (26 butir, koefisien reliabilitas .875). Data dianalisis dengan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Personality dan Procedural Justice berpengaruh langsung dan signifikan terhadap CB Toward Enviroment, Personality berpengaruh langsung dan signifikan terhadap Procedural Justice, dan Pesonality berpengaruh secara tidak langsung dan signifikan terhadap CB Toward Enviroment melalui mediasi Procedural Justice, sehingga dapat diartikan bahwa Procedural Justice berperan baik sebagai mediator. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa apabila ingin meminimalkan variasi citizenship behavior toward environment siswa secara positif diperlukan pertimbangan atas faktor-faktor seperti personality dan procedural justice yang dapat dijadikan sebagai prioritas dalam menjaga kualitas CB siswa. Kata kunci: kepribadian, keadilan prosedural, perilaku siswa berwawasan lingkungan, analisis jalur, mediator Environmental problems is an important things that must act immediately because humans need the environment to carry out their lives. The inculcation of an environmental care attitude in schools can be applied through environmental education with a good fairness in order to develop students' citizenship behavior toward environment. This research was aimed at finding out whether Procedural Justice was a good mediator between Personality with students’ Citizenship Behavior Toward Environment. A causal survey used by selecting randomly 74 students of SMP Negeri 51 Jakarta. There were four instruments measured, Personality (25 items, reliability coefficient .859), Procedural Justice (24 items, reliability coefficient .866), and CB Toward Environment (26 items, reliability coefficient .875). Data analyzed by path analysis. The research results showed that Personality and Procedural Justice directly and significantly affected CB Toward Environment, Personality directly and significantly affected Procedural Justice, then Personality indirectly and significantly affected CB Toward Environment mediated by Procedural Justice. Therefore, it can be interpreted that Procedural Justice was a good mediator. Based on those findings, it could be concluded that in trying to minimize the variation of students’ CB Toward Environment, the factor such as personality should be taken into consideration which mediated by procedural justice. it’s can be used as a priority in maintaining the quality of students' CB.
