Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan kosmetik mahasiswi Pendidikan IPS UNJ dan apakah penggunaan kosmetik dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan diri mahasiswi Pendidikan IPS UNJ. Penelitian ini dilakukan bulan Agustus-Oktober 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 40 mahasiswi dari jumlah populasi 150 Mahasiswi P.IPS angkatan 2018, 2017, 2016. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket (kuesioner) tertutup, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Mahasiswi Prodi Pendidikan IPS UNJ sudah memiliki tingkat kepercayaan diri yang sedang, keyakinan akan kemampuannya mengenai dirinya sendiri dan memiliki sikap positif terhadap dirinya tentang apa yang ingin dilakukan, serta sikap obyektif mengenai kebebasan untuk percaya pada dirinya dengan mengikuti keinginan sendiri bukan berdasarkan pemikiran orang lain, merupakan sikap yang paling unggul yang sering diterapkan dalam kegiatan sehari-hari. ********** This study aims to determine how the use of cosmetics for Social Education students and whether the use of cosmetics can increase the self-confidence of Social Education students. This research was conducted in August-October 2020. This study used a descriptive method. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 40 female students from a total population of 150 Social Studies Education Students class of 2018, 2017, 2016. The technique of collecting data is through closed questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Social Education students already have a fairly good level of self- confidence, confidence in their abilities about themselves and have a positive attitude towards themselves about what they want to do, as well as an objective attitude about freedom to believe in themselves by following their own desires not based on other people's thoughts. , is the most superior attitude that is often applied in daily activities.
