Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan data yang detail tentang peran dan fungsi serta variasi konten yang ada pada akun @indomusikgram, salah satu akun yang ada pada platform Instagram. Objek penelitian ini adalah akun @indomusikgram difokuskan kepada peran dan fungsinya sebagai media ekspresi. Penelitian dilakukan selama 5 bulan dari agustus 2020 hingga akhir Desember 2020. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Deskriptif Kualitatif dengan pendekatan Studi Pustaka. Data dikumpulkan melalui kajian Pustaka dari berbagai sumber dokumen seperti jurnal, buku, artikel, majalah online. Untuk pelengkap data digunakan juga observasi langsung pada akun @indomusikgram dan melakukan wawancara dengan CEO (Chief Executive Officer) @indomusikgram. Analisis Data dilakukan dengan membuat catatan-catatan kritis dari hasil wawancara dan membuat catatan yang diberi warna sesuai variasi konten yang diteliti untuk menemukan peran dan fungsinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran dan fungsi dari akun @indomusikgram dibagi dalam dua kategori yaitu untuk masyarakat dan untuk dunia pendidikan. Untuk masyarakat @indomusikgram berperan sebagai komunitas musik yang fungsinya untuk mewadahi tren, seni serta bakat-bakat musik baru di Indonesia, sekaligus menjadi akun komunitas musik yang memberi tontonan edukatif dan menghibur untuk masyarakat. Sedangkan untuk dunia pendidikan, @indomusikgram berperan serta sebagai media belajar, yang berfungsi untuk memberikan konten-konten musik yang edukatif dan inovatif. Variasi konten yang ada pada @indomusikgram adalah konten kolaborasi seperti #collabjauh , konten tantangan #Tantangan12BarIMG , konten eduakatif berupa pembahasan mengenai teori musik seperti “Family Chords”, konten musik berdasarkan genre musik seperti IMG Etnik, IMG Pop, IMG Dangdut, IMG Rock, IMG Jpop, IMG Kpop. Secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa akun indomusikgram adalah akun yang cukup banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat dalam dunia media sosial. Kata kunci : Media Sosial Instagram; akun @indomusikgram, Peran dan Fungsi The Purpose Of this Research is to obtain detailed data about the roles and functions as well as the variation of content on the @indomusikgram’s account, one of the accounts on the Instagram platform. The object of this research is @indomusikgram’s Instagram account focused on its role and function as a medium of expression. The research was conducted for 5 months from August 2020 to the end of December 2020. This Research is a research with Descriptive Qualitative Method with a literature study approach. The data are collected through literature review sources such as from journals, books, articles, online magazines. To complement the data, direct observation is also used on the @indomusikgram’s account and conducting interviews with the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of @indomusikgram’s. Data analysis of this reasearch was carried out by making critical notes from the interview results and making notes that were colored according to the variation of the content being studied to find out their roles and functions. The results showed that the role and function of the @indomusikgram’s account were divided into two categories, specifically for the community and for the world of education. For the community, @indomusikgram’s acts as a music community whose function is to accommodate trends, arts and new musical talents in Indonesia, as well as being a music community account that provides educational and entertaining shows for the community. For the world of education, @indomusikgram’s plays a role as a learning medium, which serves to provide educational and innovative music content. Variations of content on @indomusikgram’s are collaborative content such as #collabjauh, challenge content #Challenges12BarIMG, educational content in the form of discussions on music theory such as "Family Chords", music content based on music genres such as IMG Ethnic, IMG Pop, IMG Dangdut, IMG Rock, IMG Jpop, IMG Kpop. In general, it can be concluded that the indomusikgram account is one that is widely used by the public in the world of social media.
