Abstract

ABSTRAK Wida Widyawati. 2020. Meningkatkan Percaya Diri Anak Melalui Pembelajaran Tari Kreatif (Penelitian Tindakan pada Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 12 Depok). Skripsi, pendidikan tari, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian bertujuan untuk memperoleh data peningkatan percaya diri siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 12 Depok. Manfaat penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan informasi bagi mahasiswa selanjutnya yang ingin penelitian dengan menggunakan hasil temuan di lapangan mengenai penerapan gerak-gerak tari kreatif untuk meningkatkan percaya diri siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas oleh Kurt Lewin dengan penerapan gerak-gerak tari kreatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua siklus, yang meliputi perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, refleksi. Penelitian berlangsung dari bulan September hingga Desember di SMP Negeri 12 Depok dan melalui pembelajaran daring yang dilakukan pada siklus I dan II karena dalam masa pandemic Covid-19. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa hasil observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, tes dan angket, serta menggunakan platform zoom dan whatsapp. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan gerak-gerak tari kreatif dapat meningkatkan percaya diri siswa kelas VIII berdasarkan hasil pada pra siklus 61,4%, siklus I meningkat 84,42% dan siklus II menjadi 92,2%. Increasing Children's Confidence Through Learning Creative Dance (Action Research in Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 12 Depok). Thesis, dance education, Faculty of Language and Arts, State University of Jakarta. This study aims to obtain data on the increase in self-confidence of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 12 Depok. The benefits of this research are expected to provide information for further students who want to research using the findings in the field regarding the application of creative dance movements to increase student self-confidence. This study uses a classroom action research method by Kurt Lewin with the application of creative dance movements. This study uses two cycles, which include planning, action, observation, reflection. The research took place from September to December at SMP Negeri 12 Depok and through online learning conducted in cycles I and II due to the Covid-19 pandemic. With data collection techniques in the form of observations, interviews, documentation, tests and questionnaires, and using the zoom and WhatsApp platform. The results showed that the application of creative dance movements can increase the confidence of students in class VIII based on the results in the pre-cycle 61.4%, cycle I increased 84.42% and cycle II to 92.2%.
