Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan pemahaman mengenai bentuk-bentuk manifestasi cinta yang dilakukan oleh tokoh utama dalam novel Le Premier Jour karya Marc Levy serta implikasinya pada pembelajaran bahasa Prancis di Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Klasifikasi manifestasi cinta dalam penelitian ini berdasar pada teori lima bentuk atau cara memanifestasikan rasa cinta yang dikemukakan oleh Chapman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis struktural karya sastra. Analisis dilakukan dengan memaparkan unsur-unsur intrinsik karya sastra seperti alur atau sekuen, penokohan dan latar. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan mengidentifikasi dan menginterpretasi data-data berupa kutipan kata-kata, kalimat, dialog serta konteks yang menunjukkan manifestasi cinta dalam sumber data. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti bertindak sebagai instrumen dengan bantuan tabel analisis data yang berisi lima macam bentuk manifestasi cinta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 37 kutipan dalam novel Le Premier Jour yang menampilkan tentang bentuk-bentuk manifestasi cinta tokoh utama terhadap orang-orang terdekatnya. Dari 37 data tersebut, secara rinci ditemukan 10 kutipan yang menunjukkan bentuk waktu yang berkualitas, 9 kutipan yang memuat bentuk pelayanan, 8 kutipan yang menggambarkan bentuk sentuhan fisik, 6 kutipan yang mengandung bentuk kalimat dukungan, serta 4 kutipan yang memperlihatkan bentuk hadiah. Kata kunci: Manifestasi Cinta, Analisis Struktural, Le Premier Jour. This research aims to gain a comprehension of the forms of the manifestation of love carried out by the main character in the novel Le Premier Jour by Marc Levy. The classification of the manifestation of love in this study based on the theory of the five forms or ways of manifesting love put forward by Chapman. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with a structural analysis approach of literary works. The analysis is accomplished by describing the intrinsic elements of literary works such as plot, characters, and setting. The next step is to identifying and interpreting data in the form of citations of words, sentences, dialogues, and contexts that show the manifestation of love in the data source. In this study, the researcher acts as an instrument with the help of data analysis tables that contain five forms of manifestations of love. The result of this research showed that there are 37 citations in the novel Le Premier Jour which describe forms of manifestation of love. From the 37 data, there are in detail, 10 citations showing the form of quality time, 9 citations containing the form of act of service, 8 citations describing the form of physical touch, 6 citations containing the form of words of affirmation, and 4 citations showing the form of gifts.
