Nurul Aulia. 2020. The Effectiveness of the German-Games.net Website as an E-Learning-Based Learning Media for Mastery of German Vocabulary on Familie Topics for Class XI SMA Negeri 67 Jakarta. Thesis, German Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Language and Arts, Jakarta State University. This study aims to obtain empirical data on the effectiveness of the german-games.net website as an e-learning-based learning medium for mastery of German vocabulary in the topic of Familie class XI SMA Negeri 67 Jakarta. This research is a quantitative research design with a pretest posttest control group design and using the Mann Whitney analysis test at a significance level of 0.05%. The instrument used in this study was a written test, in the form of a gap test and pairing a selection of pictures with the right vocabulary. The instrument has previously been tested for validity using the Pearson Product Moment formula, and its reliability has been tested using the Kuder Richardson (KR) -20 formula. In the implementation of the research, the test instrument was used as material for the pretest and posttest, then it was given to two classes, namely the experimental class with the german-games.net website media treatment, and for the control class learning was carried out with conventional media. From the research, it is known that the z-count obtained is -95. This value is then compared with the z table to review the location of the value in the normal curve area with the data centered with the mean value of 0. The significance level used is ɑ = 0.05% and dk = 29, which is 1.96. From the research results, it is known that the z-count results are lower than the z-table results. This means that the alternative hypothesis is rejected and the null hypothesis is accepted, so the conclusion drawn is that the german-games.net website learning media is not effective for mastery of German vocabulary topic Familie class XI SMA Negeri 67 Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data empiris tentang efektivitas website german-games.net sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis e-learning terhadap penguasaan kosa katabahasa Jerman topikFamilie kelas XI SMA Negeri 67 Jakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian pretest posttest control group design dan menggunakan uji analisis Mann Whitney pada taraf signifikansi 0,05%.Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah tes tertulis, yang berupa tes rumpang dan memasangkan pilihan gambar dengan kosa katayang tepat. Instrumen tersebut sebelumnya telah diuji validitasnya dengan menggunakan rumus Pearson Product Moment, serta diuji reliabilitasnya menggunakan rumus Kuder Richardson (KR)-20. Pada pelaksanaan penelitian,instrumen tes digunakan sebagai bahan untuk pretest dan posttest,lalu diberikan padadua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dengan perlakuan media website german-games.net, dan untuk kelas kontrol pembelajaran dilangsungkan dengan media konvensional.Dari hasil penelitian diketahui z-hitung yang diperoleh sebesar -95. Nilai tersebut selanjutnya dibandingkan dengan tabel z untuk meninjau letak nilai yang berada di area kurva normal dengan data yang terpusat nilai mean 0. Taraf signifikansiyang digunakan adalah ɑ = 0,05% dan dk = 29, yakni 1,96. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa hasil z-hitung lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan hasil z-tabel. Hal tersebut berarti hipotesisalternatif ditolak dan hipotesis nol diterima, sehingga kesimpulan yang ditarik adalah media pembelajaran website german-games.net tidak efektif terhadap penguasaan kosa kata bahasa Jerman topikFamilie kelas XI SMA Negeri 67 Jakarta.
