Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk berupa buku panduan metode tutor sebaya bagi peserta didik tunarungu di sekolah penyelenggara pendidikan inklusi. Produk ini diperuntukkan bagi peserta didik reguler dan guru yang berada di jenjang sekolah menengah atas guna membantu peserta didik tunarungu dalam proses pembelajaran melalui kegiatan tutor sebaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengembangan produk ini adalah metode Research and Development (RnD) dengan model pengembangan PPE yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan, yaitu tahap perencanaan (planning), tahap produksi (production), dan tahap evaluasi (evaluation). Pada tahap perencanaan, dilakukan kegiatan observasi, pemilihan produk, studi pustaka, pemilihan materi, dan rancangan konsep. Pada tahap produksi, dilakukan kegiatan pemilihan warna biru dan kuning sebagai warna tema, penggambaran desain dan ilustrasi, pengaturan tata letak materi, pemilihan jenis kertas matt paper 120gr dengan laminasi mengkilap, dan proses mencetak. Pada tahap evaluasi, dilakukan validasi produk dilakukan oleh tiga ahli, yaitu ahli media, ahli materi, dan ahli pendidikan tunarungu yang berkompeten di masing-masing bidang dengan hasil rata rata keseluruhan yang telah dicapai adalah sangat baik, Selain produk divalidasi oleh para ahli, produk sudah dilakukan uji keterbacaan oleh lima peserta didik reguler. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa produk buku panduan metode tutor sebaya bagi tunarungu dapat digunakan sebagai panduan untuk guru dalam menerapkan metode tutor sebaya bagi peserta didik tunarungu di sekolah penyelenggara pendidikan inklusi. Produk diharapkan bisa menjadi referensi dalam mengembangkan metode tutor sebaya pada kekhususan lainnya. This study aimed to generate a product in the form of a manual book of peer tutoring methods for deaf students in schools that provides inclusive education. This product is intended for regular students, and teachers at the senior high school level to assist deaf students in the learning process through peer tutoring activities. Research and Development (RnD) method was used to develop it with the PPE development model consisting of three stages, including the stages of planning, production, and evaluation. At the planning stage, activities of observation, product selection, literature study, material selection, and concept design were carried out. At the production stage, activities of selecting blue and yellow as the theme colors, drawing designs and illustrations, setting the material layout, selecting the 120gr matt paper type with glossy lamination, and the printing process were carried out. At the evaluation stage, product validation was performed by three experts, including media, material, and deaf education experts who were competent in their fields with the overall achieved average result of very good. Besides being validated by the experts, the product had been tested for readability by five regular students. The results of this study indicate that the manual book of peer tutoring methods for deaf students can be used as a guide for teachers in applying the peer tutoring method for deaf students in schools that provide inclusive education. The product is expected to be a reference in developing peer tutoring methods in other specialties.
