Abstract
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK 1 Perguruan Cikini Jakarta, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembangunan pendidikan karakter, perencanaan pendidikan karakter, serta relevansi hasil perencanaan pendidikan karakter dalam praktek kerja industri pada peserta didik jurusan otomotif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan November 2019 hingga Desember 2020. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Membangun pendidikan karakter diawali dengan internalisasi visi dan misi dalam kegiatan pembiasaan. Selanjutnya, sosialisasi ragam kegiatan pembiasaan. Kemudian, implementasi pembiasaan oleh peserta didik dalam praktek kerja industri. (2) perencanaan diawali dengan melakukan kerjasama dan membuat MoU dengan PT. JIAEC (Japan Indonesian Economic Center). Selanjutnya, menganalisis kebutuhan pendidikan karakter sesuai dengan karakter yang ditetapkan oleh PT. JIAEC. Kemudian, mengadakan rapat kerja dalam perencanaan program pendidikan karakter. Serta, menentukan kegiatan atau program pendidikan karakter. (3) relevansi hasil perencanaan pendidikan karakter melalui kesesuaian hasil penetapan pendidikan karakter dengan karakter yang ditetapkan oleh PT. JIAEC. Selanjutnya, pengecekan kesiapan peserta didik dalam menerapkan pendidikan karakter yang ditetapkan melalui kegiatan pembekalan sebelum melaksanakan praktek kerja industri. Kemudian, peserta didik memiliki karakter yang sesuai dengan budaya industri. This research was conducted at SMK 1 Perguruan Cikini Jakarta, which aims to determine the character education building, character education planning, and the relevance of the results of character education planning in industrial work practices for students majoring in automotive. This research was conducted from November 2019 to December 2020. Researchers used a qualitative approach and descriptive methods. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation study. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Building character education begins with internalizing the vision and mission in habituation activities. Furthermore, socialization of various habituation activities. Then, the implementation of habituation by students in industrial work practices. (2) planning begins with collaborated and made an MoU with PT. JIAEC (Japan Indonesian Economic Center). Furthermore, analyze the need for character education in accordance with the characters determined by PT. JIAEC. Then, hold a work meeting in planning the character education program. Also, determine the character education activities or programs. (3) the relevance of the results of character education planning through the conformity of the results of character education determination with the characters determined by PT. JIAEC. Furthermore, checking the readiness of students in implementing the character education determined through debriefing activities before carrying out industrial work practices. Then, students have characters that are in accordance with industrial culture.
