Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran dukungan sosial pada keluarga penyintas COVID-19. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Metode pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah dua keluarga yang pernah terkonfirmasi positif COVID-19. Pada keluarga pertama yang dikonfirmasi positif COVID-19 adalah ibu dan anak keempat sedangkan pada keluarga kedua yang dikonfirmasi positif COVID-19 adalah seluruh anggota keluarga inti. Data dalam penelitian ini dilengkapi dengan keterangan dari seorang significant others dari tiap keluarga. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kedua keluarga mendapatkan dukungan sosial yang berbeda. Keluarga pertama cenderung lebih mendapatkan emotional support dan informational support sedangkan keluarga kedua cenderung lebih mendapatkan informational support dan tangible/instrumental support. This study aims to see a description of social support in families of COVID-19 survivors. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with a case study method. The data collection methods use were interviews, observation, and documentation. The subject in this study were two families who has tested positive COVID-19. In the first family confirmed positive of COVID-19 are the mother and fourth child, while in the second family confirmed positive of COVID-19 are all the members of nuclear family. The data in this study are equipped with information from a significant others from each family. The results of this study indicate that the two families get different social support. The first family tend to get more emotional support and informational support, while the second family tends to get more informational support and tangible/instrumental support.
