Abstract

ABSTRAK Yuda Willem Christoffel. Analisis Teknik Slap Bass Elektrik Pada Lagu Instrumental D-Code karya Alain Caron. Skripsi. Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Musik, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta 2021. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan teknik slap bass elektrik yang digunakan pada lagu instrumental D-code. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2020 – Januari 2021, bertempat di Taman Harapan RT 014 RW 003 Cawang, Jakarta Timur. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, studi pustaka, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Untuk analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penyimpulan (verifikasi). Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian, lagu instrumental D-code ini memiliki bentuk A-B-A-C-A-D-C’-D’-C’- A . Tanda birama 4/4, tempo: 115, dengan tangga nada D minor. Jumlah birama keseluruhan pada karya ini adalah sebanyak 106 birama. Pada umumnya teknik yang terdapat pada lagu instrumental D-code adalah teknik slap. Penelitian ini menghasilkan pengunaan teknik tangan kanan dan tangan kiri. Untuk teknik tangan kanan diantaranya teknik double thumb (up, down) dan teknik double pluck (pluck 1, pluck 2). Sedangkan untuk tangan kiri mengunakan teknik hammer-on, pull-off, barre, barring chord, slide, string skipping. Kata Kunci : Teknik Slap, D-code, Alain Caron ABSTRACT Yuda Willem Christoffel. The purpose of this study was to describe the electric slap bass technique used in the instrumental D-code song. This research method uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The research was conducted in September 2020 - January 2021, at Taman Harapan RT 014 RW 003 Cawang, East Jakarta. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, literature study, interviews and documentation. For data analysis using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion (verification). The data validity technique used triangulation. The result of the research, this D-code instrumental song has the form A-B-A-C-A-D-C'-D'-C'- A. Time signature 4/4, tempo: 115, with a D minor scale. The total number of bars in this work is 106 bars. In general, the technique found in the D-code instrumental song is the slap technique. This research resulted in the use of the right and left hand techniques. The right hand technique includes the double thumb technique (up, down) and the double pluck technique (pluck 1, pluck 2). Meanwhile, the left hand uses hammer-on, pull-off, barre, barring chord, slide, and string skipping techniques. Keywords: Slap technique, D-code, Alain Caron
