Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis besarnya derajat integrasi perdagangan intra industri beserta pengaruh rata-rata GDP per kapita negara partner, nilai tukar, dan jarak terhadap perdagangan intra industri Indonesia dengan lima negara partner yang tergabung dalam organisasi APEC (China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, dan Thailand) pada industri kendaraan roda empat periode 2012-2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder, data diperoleh dari World Bank dan UN Comtrade dengan kode SITC 3781. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan intra industry trade (IIT) indeks untuk menghitung derajat integrasi dan gravity model dengan metode regresi data panel untuk menganalisis pengaruh rata-rata GDP per kapita negara partner, nilai tukar dan jarak terhadap nilai indeks IIT. Hasil penelitian dari indeks IIT menunjukkan jika integrasi perdagangan intra industri Indonesia dengan kelima negara partner pada industri kendaraan roda empat ini berada pada kategori mild integration (integrasi sedang) dengan angka 48,472. Hasil dari regresi data panel menunjukkan jika variabel rata-rata GDP perkapita negara partner dan nilai tukar memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap indeks IIT pada industri kendaraan roda empat. Sedangkan untuk variabel jarak menunjukkan pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap indeks IIT pada industri kendaraan roda empat. Kata kunci: Perdagangan intra industri, GDP, nilai tukar, jarak, indeks IIT (Grubel-Lloyd Index), regresi data panel. This study aims to analyze the degree of integration of intra-industry trade with the effect of the average GDP per capita of partner countries, exchange rates, and distance on Indonesia's intra-industry trade with five partner countries that are members of the APEC organization (China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand) in the four-wheeled vehicle industry for the period 2012-2019. This study uses secondary data, data obtained from the World Bank and UN Comtrade with the code SITC 3781. This study method uses an intra-industry trade (IIT) index to calculate the degree of integration and gravity model with a panel data regression method to analyze the effect of the average GDP per capita of partner countries, exchange rates and distance on the IIT index value. The results of the research from the IIT index show that the integration of intra-industry trade in Indonesia with the five partner countries in the four-wheeled vehicle industry is in the mild integration category, with a number of 48.472. The results of the panel data regression show that the average GDP per capita of partner countries and the exchange rate variable have a positive and significant effect on the IIT index in the four-wheeled vehicle industry. Meanwhile, the distance variable shows a negative and significant effect on the IIT index in the four-wheeled vehicle industry.
