Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berwudhu melalui metode demonstrasi pada siswa autis di sekolah Budi Waluyo. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seorang anak autis berusia 17 tahun kelas XI di sekolah Budi Waluyo Jakarta Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian subjek tunggal dengan desain A-B-A. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis visual dalam kondisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan keterampilan melakukan wudhu pada siswa autis. Hal ini terjadi pada beberapa perilaku tahap baseline II subjek sudah mampu dalam tahap membasuh muka, berkumur-kumur, membasuh kedua tangan, membasuh kedua telinga dan membasuh kedua kaki. Kata kunci : Kemampuan berwudhu, Metode demonstrasi, Siswa autis. The study aims to improve the ability to perform ablution through demonstration methods for autistic student at Budi Waluyo School. The subject for this study was a 17 year old autistic child in grade XI at Budi Waluyo School, South Jakarta. This study used a single subject research method with the A-B-A design. The data collection technique in this research is observation. The data analysis technique used is visual analysis in conditions. The results showed that the demonstration method can improve the skills of performing ablution for autistic students. This happened in several behavior in the baseline stage II, the subject was able to wash his face, rinse his mouth, wash his hands, wash his ears and wash his feet.
