Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai bentuk dan faktor penyebab campur kode yang terjadi pada tuturan dalam konferensi bertajuk The Lead Club oleh AIESEC UNJ. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah simak bebas cakap, rekam dan catat. Analisis dalam penelitian ini diawali dengan mentranskripsikan data penelitian berupa rekaman dari The Lead Club oleh AIESEC UNJ untuk selanjutnya dilakukan identifikasi campur kode terhadap data penelitian tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini adalah fenomena campur kode antara bahasa Inggris dengan bahasa Indonesia yang terjadi pada tuturan dalam The Lead Club oleh AIESEC UNJ. Bentuk campur kode yang terjadi berupa penyisipan kata, frasa dan klausa. Faktor penyebab terjadinya campur kode dalam penelitian ini adalah: keterbatasan penggunaan kode; penggunaan istilah yang lebih popular; pembicara dan pribadi pembicara; tempat tinggal dan waktu pembicaraan berlangsung; modus pembicaraan; topik pembicaraan; fungsi dan tujuan pembicaraan; pokok pembicaraan; serta untuk sekadar bergengsi. Kata kunci: campur kode, tuturan, AIESEC This study aims to obtain information about the form and factors causing code-mixing in a speech at a conference entitled The Lead Club by AIESEC UNJ. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data collection method used in this study was free speech, record and take notes. The analysis in this study began with transcribing the research data in the form of recordings from The Lead Club by AIESEC UNJ for further identification of the code-mixing of the research data. The research result is a phenomenon of code-mixing between English and Indonesian that occurs in the speech at The Lead Club by AIESEC UNJ. The form of code-mixing that occurs is the insertion of words, phrases, and clauses. The factors causing code-mixing in this study were: limited use of codes; use of more popular terms; speaker and speaker personal; place of residence and time the talks took place; speech mode; topic of conversation; function and purpose of the conversation; subject of discussion; as well as to be prestigious.
