Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-esteem dengan attitudes toward gender roles pada subjek remaja akhir. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik accidental sampling. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner online dan mendapatkan 662 responden. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale (RSES) dan Attitudes Toward Woman for Adolescen (AWSA). Uji analisis statistik korelasi menggunakan Pearson Product Moment dengan hasil penelitian nilai p = 0.025 dan nilai r = 0.087 menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang bersifat positif antara self-esteem dengan attitudes toward gender roles. Hal ini berarti jika self-esteem seseorang tinggi maka attitudes toward gender roles akan egaliter. Kata Kunci: Self-esteem, Attitudes Toward Gender Roles, Remaja Akhir. ************* This study aim is to determine the relation of self-esteem and attitudes toward gender roles in late adolescence. This study uses quantitative approach with accidental sampling technique. The data is collected by online questionnaire and got 662 respondents. The measuring instruments are Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale (RSES) and Attitudes Toward Woman for Adolescent (AWSA). The statistical analysis for correlation using the Pearson Product Moment and the result showed the value of p = 0.025 and the value of r = 0.087 it means there is a positive relation between self-esteem and attitudes toward gender roles. The analysis showed if the self-esteem score is high therefore the attitudes toward gender roles will be egalitarian. Keywords: Self-esteem, Attitudes Toward Gender Roles, Late Adolescence.
