Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pemaknaan kebahagiaan pada pilot wanita di Indonesia yang belum menikah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah dua orang pilot wanita yang belum menikah dan bekerja di salah satu maskapai penerbangan komersil di Indonesia. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada kedua subjek pemaknaan kebahagiaan wanita bekerja sebagai pilot adalah ketika mimpinya sebagai pilot telah tercapai. Didukung juga oleh kebahagiaan lain dalam menjalankan profesi nya, menyelesaikan pekerjaannya dengan baik, mengalami proses pembelajaran dalam menjadi pilot, memiliki rencana masa depan terkait pekerjaannya sebagai pilot, dan adanya emosi positif yang dirasakan selama bekerja sebagai pilot. Keberhasilan dan kebahgiaan yang dirasakan juga tidak terlepas dari adanya dukungann penuh dari keluarga dan tema serta lingkungan kerja. Selain itu, dalam melakukan pemaknaan kebahagiaan subjek juga tidak terlepas dengan bagaimana masing-masing dari subjek memaknai secara mendalam arti kebahagiaannya saat bekerja sebagai pilot.Perbedaan pemaknaan ini dipengaruhi oleh adanya perbedaan pengalaman yang dialami kedua subjek selama berproses menjadi pilot, baik saat menjalankan pendidikan dan ketika sudah bekerja sebagai pilot di sebuah maskapai. This research aims to know how happiness understanding of unmarried women pilots in Indonesia. This was a qualitative research using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis method. The subjects in this research were two unmarried women pilots, and they worked in one of Indonesian commercial aviation. Data collection method used in this research was indepth interview and observation. The results of this research showed that in both subjects the understanding of a woman's happiness working as a pilot was when their dream as pilots had been reached. It was also supported by other happiness in running their professions, completing their jobs well, experiencing the learning process in becoming pilots, having future plans related to their job as pilots, and feeling the positive emotions while working as pilots. The success and happiness that they felt were also gained by the supports of the family, relatives, and work environment. Additionally, in making the happiness understanding of the subjects, it was also inseparable from how each of the subjects deeply interpreted the understanding of their happiness while working as pilots. This understanding differences were influenced by the differences in the experiences of the two subjects during the process of becoming pilots, either during education or when already working as pilots in airline.
