Abstract

ABSTRAK Biologi dianggap sebagai salah satu mata pelajaran yang sulit bagi siswa, sehingga dalam mencapai tujuan belajar biologi banyak siswa mengesampingkan perilaku-perilaku baik, salah satunya yaitu interpersonal citizenship behavior. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya peranan kepercayaan sebagai mediasi antara kepribadian dengan interpersonal citizenship behavior siswa selama pembelajaran biologi di kelas. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei melalui studi kausal. Survei dilakukan terhadap 74 siswa di SMAN 3 Bekasi. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Agustus 2020 hingga Januari 2021. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis jalur. Hasil perhitungan koefisien reliabilitas instrumen interpersonal citizenship behavior sebesar 0,803, kepribadian sebesar 0,840, dan kepercayaan sebesar 0,852, yang menandakan ketiga instrumen dapat dipercaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepribadian berpengaruh langsung terhadap kepercayaan secara signifikan, kepercayaan berpengaruh langsung terhadap interpersonal citizenship behavior secara signifikan, kepribadian berpengaruh langsung terhadap interpersonal citizenship behavior secara signifikan serta didapatkan hasil kepercayaan baik sebagai variabel mediasi antara kepribadian dan interpersonal citizenship behavior siswa. Oleh karena itu, dalam upaya meningkatkan interpersonal citizenship behavior siswa, faktor kepribadian dan kepercayaan perlu dipertimbangkan. ABSTRACT Students considered Biology as one of the most difficult subjects in school, so that many students put aside good behaviors to achieve biology learning goals, one of them known as interpersonal citizenship behavior. This research was conducted to determine the role of trust as mediation between personality and students’ interpersonal citizenship behavior during biology learning. This research used survey method through causal studies. The survey was conducted towards 74 students in SMAN 3 Bekasi. This research was conducted from August 2020 to January 2021. The data were analyzed by path analysis. The result of reliability coefficient calculation of interpersonal citizenship behavior instrument was 0.803, personality was 0.840, and trust was 0.852, which indicates that the instruments can be trusted. The results showed that personality directly affected trust significantly, trust directly affected interpersonal citizenship behavior significantly, personality directly affected interpersonal citizenship behavior significantly, and the result of trust was a good mediated variable between personality and students’ interpersonal citizenship behavior. Therefore, in improving students’ interpersonal citizenship behavior, factors such as personality and trust should be considered.
