Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perkembangan motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran jarak jauh pada materi pokok bahasan hukum dasar kimia menggunakan media mobile game based learning (m-gbl). Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif dengan paradigma interpretif. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan kuesioner motivasi belajar yang diadaptasi dari instrumen Course Interest Survey oleh John M. Keller berdasarkan model motivasi ARCS (attention, relevance, confidence, satisfaction), refelktif jurnal peserta didik, wawancara, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media mobile game based learning (m-gbl) dalam pembelajaran kimia mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas X MIPA C di SMA Negeri 105 Jakarta dalam aspek perhatian, relevansi, percaya diri dan kepuasan. Pada aspek perhatian (attention) peserta didik menunjukkan antusias dan lebih tertarik untuk mengikuti pembelajaran jarak jauh kimia. Pada aspek relevansi (relevance) menunjukkan peserta didik mampu menemukan kegunaan dan peran penting ilmu kimia dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pada aspek percaya diri (confident) menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik memiliki rasa percaya diri dalam pembelajaran dan yakin bahwa hasil pembelajaran sesuai dengan usaha yang mereka lakukan. Pada aspek kepuasan (satisfaction) menunjukkan peserta didik puas terhadap pembelajaran dan juga tidak merasa kecewa dengan pembelajaran kimia. Kata kunci : motivasi belajar, mobile game based learning, hukum dasar kimia This study aims to analyze the development of students' learning motivation in the online learning process on the subject matter of the basic laws of chemistry using mobile game based learning (m-gbl) media. The research was conducted using qualitative methods with an interpretive paradigm. Research data were obtained with a learning motivation questionnaire adapted from the Course Interest Survey instrument by John M. Keller based on the ARCS motivation model (attention, relevance, confidence, satisfaction), student journal reflection, interviews, and observations. The results showed that the use of mobile game based learning (m-gbl) media in chemistry learning was able to increase the learning motivation of class X MIPA C students at SMA Negeri 105 Jakarta in the aspects of attention, relevance, confidence and satisfaction. In the attention aspect, students showed enthusiasm and were more interested in participating in chemical distance learning. On the aspect of relevance (relevance) showsstudents are able to find the use and important role of chemistry in everyday life. In the confident aspect, it shows that students have a sense of confidence in learning and believe that learning outcomes are in accordance with the efforts they do. On the aspect of satisfaction (satisfaction) shows students are satisfied with learning and also do not feel disappointed with learning chemistry.
