Abstract
Penelitian penciptaan karya dibuat dengan tujuan untuk mengajar muda-mudi tentang kebudayaan keris Lampung melalui video game The Lost Artifact. Game ini juga menceritakan tentang pahlawan Lampung, Raden Intan II. Museum merupakan tempat penyimpanan benda-benda bersejarah, terutama benda-benda yang ditinggalkan oleh para pahlawan terdahulu, yang memiliki nilai sejarah tinggi bagi suatu bangsa dan negara. Mengingat dan melestarikan sejarah adalah suatu tanda negara yang maju dan beradab. Terutama tentang Keris Lampung yang sangat populer dalam masyarakat, yang digunakan dalam upacara adat maupun dalam acara pernikahan. Untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan wawasan terhadap kebudayaan dan sejarah bangsa, tidak hanya melalui museum, tetapi bisa dimodifikasi melalui permainan video game, dan video game itu sendiri merupakan suatu alat teknologi yang mengeluarkan projeksi visual dalam layar, bisa dimainkan dengan seorang atau lebih, dengan begitu terciptanya karya video game yang berjudul The Lost Artifact. Dengan melalui video game The Lost Artifact ini, muda-mudi bisa mengenal dan belajar tentang kebudayaan keris Lampung, juga mengenal tentang pahlawan Lampung yang bernama Raden Intan II. Research on creation of works was made with the aim of teaching young people about the culture of the Lampung keris through the video game The Lost Artifact. This game also tells about the hero of Lampung, Raden Intan II. The museum is a storage place for historical objects, especially objects left by previous heroes, which have high historical value for a nation and country. Remembering and preserving history is a sign of a developed and civilized country. Especially about the Lampung keris which is very popular in the community, which is used in traditional ceremonies and in weddings. To increase knowledge and insight into the nation's culture and history, not only through museums, but can be modified through video game games, and video games themselves are technological tools that produce visual projections on the screen, can be played with one or more people, thus creating video game work entitled The Lost Artifact. Through the video game The Lost Artifact, young people can get to know and learn about Lampung's keris culture, as well as about the Lampung hero named Raden Intan II.
