Dalam kehidupan sehari-hari lampu tidur merupakan salah satu kebutuhan manusia dalam menerangi ruangan saat malam hari dengan cahaya minim dan adanya fungsi aromaterapi membuat relaks saat menghirup uap aromaterapi. Negara Indonesia mempunyai banyak sumber kekayaan alam khususnya tumbuhan kelapa. Banyak orang memanfaatkan buah kelapa namun membuang batok kelapa karena tidak di gunakan. Beragam jenis bunga anggrek sebagai flora yang di lindungi di Indonesia. Maka dari itu batok kelapa di gunakan untuk bahan material membuat karya seni kap lampu dan memperkenalkan bunga anggrek yang di lindungi di indonesia. Tujuan dari pembuatan tugas akhir ini adalah menciptakan inovasi terhadap kap lampu tidur yang berbeda di pasaran. Bentuk kap lampu persegi 8 dengan menampilkan beberapa motif bunga anggrek yang di budidayakan di Indonesia di pilih sebagai ide serta gagasan bentuk motif yang akan di timbulkan pada lubang pada permukaan kap lampu. The Indonesian state has many sources of natural wealth, especially coconut plants. Many people use coconut fruit but throw away coconut shells because they are not used. Various types of orchids are protected flora in Indonesia. Therefore coconut shells are used as materials for making lampshade artwork and introducing protected orchids in Indonesia. The purpose of this final project is to create innovations for different bedroom lamp shades on the market. The shape of the square lampshade 8 by displaying several orchid flower motifs that are cultivated in Indonesia was chosen as an idea and the idea of ​​the shape of the motif that will be created in a hole on the surface of the lampshade.
