Prodi Pendidikan Seni Rupa, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penciptaan karya secara konseptual bertujuan memperkenalkan dan menstimulasi apresiasi masyarakat dewasa awal usia 20-30 tahun terkait motif ragam hias Pace dan Ayam Bekisar dari daerah Pacitan Jawa Timur menggunakan teknik cetak digital. Usia dewasa awal sesuai teori Yudrik Djahdja, memiliki perkembangan psikologis puncak dari perkembangan masa dewasa sehingga sudah bisa mengerti tujuan penciptaan karya. Latar belakang penciptaan karya dilandasi fenomena menurunnya eksistensi motif ragam hias daerah yang terjadi di beberapa kota besar di Indonesia, hal ini diperoleh dari identifikasi survei tahun 2020 mengenai tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat perkotaan terkait motif ragam hias daerah yang juga menunjukan faktor penyebab permasalahan tersebut ialah karena dinilai kurang mengikuti trend sehingga dianggap kurang menarik. Maraknya fenomena tersebut menimbulkan respon internal dari diri perupa melalui penciptaan sebuah karya dengan penerapan salah satu ragam hias daerah di Indonesia guna mencegah hilang totalnya eksistensi ragam hias daerah, namun menciptakan sebuah motif hasil adaptasi ragam hias daerah agar sesuai tren tidak bisa dilakukan secara sembarangan karena memiliki pakem tertentu. Ragam hias daerah terpilih adalah Ragam Hias Pace dan Ayam Bekisar dikarenakan memiliki bentuk corak yang dianggap menarik oleh masyarakat perkotaan apabila dapat diolah dengan teknik yang mumpuni. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data terkait pakem filosofi ragam hias pace dan ayam bekisar menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara kepada para pemilik Sentra Batik Pace. Selain proses observasi, pengumpulan data riset mengenai produk dan teknik yang paling tepat digunakan sebagai media penerapan motif dilakukan dengan cara survei kuesioner hingga terpilih produk busana dengan teknik cetak digital. Hasil rancangan busana yang dipilih menjadi karya ditentukan melalui proses survei angket dengan lima responden yang memenuhi kualifikasi target konsumen. Secara keseluruhan, penciptaan desain ragam hias motif pace dan ayam bekisar dari Pacitan Jawa Timur yang dimodifikasi tanpa menghilangkan pakemnya dengan penyesuaian variasi bentuk pattern motif serta trend warna dan fesyen terkini pada media busana dapat memunculkan apresiasi masyarakat sehingga motif ragam hias tersebut dapat lebih dikenal. The project creation conceptually is meant to introduce and stimulate the appreciation of early 20-30 years old people about Pace and Ayam Bekisar decorative ornaments from Pacitan, East Java by using digital printing technique. According to Yudrik Djahdja's theory, early 20-30 years old people has the peak psychological development of their adulthood so they might be understood the process of the project. A background of the final project creation based on the regional decorative ornamnets decrease that occurs in several cities in Indonesia, as obtained from the 2020 survey regarding to the lever knowledge of urban communities that related to the regional decorative ornaments that makes the reason why the ornaments aren't well-known is because they don't consider it as an attractive trend to follow. The phenomenon crowded causes internal response of the designer/artist through project creation by applying one of regional decorative ornaments in Indonesia to prevent the total loss of the regional decorative ornaments existence, but create a motive by adapting regional decorative ornaments to follow the trend can't be done carelessly because it has a certain grip. The selected regional decorative ornaments are Pace and Ayam Bekisar because they have certain pattern that considered attractive by urban people if it can be managed by skillful techniques. There is also collecting data technique about philosophical grip of Pace and Ayam Bekisar using obaservation method and interview to the owner of Batik Pace Centre. Beside of observation process, collecting research data about the most appropriate product and technique is used as platform for applying motive by questionnaire survey so the clothing/fashion product were selected by using digital printing technique. The results of clothing design that choosen to be project is determined by survey process with 5 respondents that qualified the target consumers. Overall, the creation of decorative designs with Pace and Ayam Bekisar motives from Pacitan, East Java, which were modified without losing the grip by adjusting variations in the pattern of patterns as well as the latest color and fashion trends in the fashion media can generate public appreciation so that these decorative motives can be better known.
