Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan data empiris mengenai hubungan kemampuan investigasi dengan sikap ilmiah siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA di kelas VI SDN Kelurahan Pondok Cabe Udik Tangerang Selatan. Sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 35 siswa kelas VI dengan pengambilan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian korelasional. Dalam proses pengambilan data variabel kemampuan investigasi dan sikap ilmiah siswa menggunakan angket. Data penelitian kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t. Hasil pengolahan dan analisis data menunjukan sebanyak 60% siswa memiliki sikap ilmiah siswa dalam kategori cukup dan sebanyak 51% siswa memiliki kemampuan investigasi dalam kategori baik. Nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,5981 menjelaskan bahwa terdapat hubungan dengan arah yang positif antara kemampuan investigasi dengan sikap ilmiah siswa, artinya jika terjadi kenaikan atau peningkatan pada kemampuan investigasi maka sikap ilmiah siswa juga mengalami kenaikan atau peningkatan dan sebaliknya. Nilai signifikansi sebesar 4,21770 yang lebih besar dari ttabel sebesar 1,69236 menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan. Nilai koefisien determinasi (r2) sebesar 35,03% yang menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan investigasi dapat menjelaskan sikap ilmiah siswa sebesar 35,03%. This research is conducted for getting empirical data of the correlation between investigation ability and students scientific attutide in learning science of 6th graders SDN Kelurahan Pondok Cabe Udik Tangerang Selatan. Data sample for this research is 35 students of 6th grade. Technique of data collection for this research is simple random sampling technique. Researcher used quantitative method in line with correlational research design. On the process of collecting data for investigation ability and scientific attitude variables, researcher used questionnaire. The data research then was analyzed by using t-test. The result shows that 60% students have scientific attitude with fair category and 51% students have scientific attitude with good category. The scientific attitude variable is scored by using coefficient correlation score 0.5981 which describes there is a positive correlation between investigation ability and students scientific attitude. It means that if there is an improvement in investigation ability, students scientific attitude will improve as well and vice versa. The significant score 4.21770 is more than T table 1.69236. It shows that there is a significant correlation. Coeffecient determination (r2) 35.03% shows that investigation ability can describe 35.03% of students scientific attitude.
