Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen pembinaan program Olimpiade Sains Nasional (OSN) di SMA Negeri 34 Jakarta. Sub fokus penelitian ini yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 34 Jakarta. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian ini adalah Penanggung Jawab Pembinaan program OSN, Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kurikulum, Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Sarpras & Humas, serta guru pengajar pembinaan program OSN di SMA Negeri 34 Jakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pembinaan program OSN di SMA Negeri 34 Jakarta dilakukan 3 bulan sebelum seleksi tingkat sekolah. Setelah seleksi didapatkan 3-5 peserta didik yang lolos dalam setiap bidang OSN yang akan diikutsertakan dalam pembinaan program OSN. (2) Pengorganisasian pembinaan program OSN meliputi penentuan target, penentuan penanggung jawab, penentuan tenaga pendidik dan mengikutsertakan peserta didik kelas 12 (alumni OSN) untuk sosialisasi pembinaan program OSN. (3) Pelaksanaan pembinaan program OSN diikuti oleh 3-5 orang peserta didik setiap bidang OSN. (4) Pengawasan pembinaan program OSN dilakukan pada saat kegiatan pembinaan berlangsung dengan cara berkeliling kelas. Kata kunci : Manajemen, Pembinaan, Olimpiade Sains Nasional This study aims to describe the management of the National Science Olympiad (OSN) program coaching at 34 Senior High School Jakarta. The sub-focus of this research is planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring. This research was conducted at 34 Senior High School Jakarta. The methodology used is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Collecting data through interviews, observation and documentation. The informants of this study were the Person in Charge of OSN program coaching, the Deputy Principal of the School for Curriculum, the Deputy Head of the School for Public Relations and Public Relations, and the teaching teacher for OSN program coaching at 34 Senior High School Jakarta. The results showed that: (1) OSN program coaching in 34 Senior High School Jakarta was carried out 3 months before the school level selection. After the selection, 3-5 students who passed in each OSN field were selected to be included in OSN program coaching. (2) Organizing the OSN program coaching includes determining targets, determining the person in charge, determining the teaching staff and involving 12th grade students (OSN alumni) for the socialization of OSN guidance. (3) The implementation of OSN program coaching is attended by 3-5 students from each OSN field. (4) Supervision of OSN program coaching is carried out when coaching activities take place by going around the class. Keywords : Management, Coaching, National Science Olympiad
