Abstract

Kasus anak berkarakter negatif berupa perundungan, kekerasan fisik, kekerasan psikis, dan kekerasan seksual masih terjadi di lingkungan pendidikan. Sekolah melaksanakan pendidikan karakter masih banyak menitikberatkan pada konteks pengetahuan dibandingkan pengamalan menyebabkan siswa kesulitan membentuk karakter positif. Pendidikan karakter di sekolah merupakan tahapan pembentukan karakter yang tidak kalah pentingnya dari pembentukan karakter oleh orang tua di keluarga. Sekolah harus memiliki dan menerapkan manajemen pendidikan karakter siswa untuk mencapai visi sesuai misi dan karakteristik sekolah masing-masing. Penggunaan Indikator Kinerja Utama (IKU) sebagai alat ukur kinerja sekolah dengan tepat dan akurat sangat membantu pengelola sekolah untuk menyajikan keberhasilan pencapaian tujuan sekolah untuk dipertanggungjawabkan kepada seluruh pemangku sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini memaparkan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan kontrol pendidikan karakter SD Islam Al Ikhlas untuk mewujudkan IKU sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan penelitian studi kasus di SD Islam Al Ikhlas. Hasil temuan penelitian yaitu: (1) perencanaan pendidikan karakter dan indikator kinerja utama (IKU) selaras dengan visi dan misi sekolah dengan melibatkan pemangku kepentingan sekolah. (2) pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter melalui kegiatan sosialisasi, pembelajaran, pembiasaan dan ekstrakurikuler sesuai rencana yang telah dibuat; 3) kontrol pendidikan karakter menggunakan Indikator Kinerja Utama (IKU) meliputi kegiatan monitoring, evaluasi dan penyampaian laporan. Cases of children with negative character in the form of bullying, physical violence, psychic violence, and sexual violence still occur in the educational environment. Schools carrying out character education still focus a lot on the context of knowledge rather than practice causing students difficulty forming positive characters. Character education in school is a stage of character building that is no less important than character building by parents in the family. Schools must have and implement student character education management to achieve a vision according to the mission and characteristics of their respective schools. The use of Key Performance Indicators (IKU) as a measure of school performance effectively and accurately is very helpful for school managers to present the success of achieving school objectives to be accounted for to all school stakeholders. The purpose of this research describes the planning, implementation and control of the character education of SD Islam Al Ikhlas to realize the school IKU. This study uses qualitative approach with case study research at SD Islam Al Ikhlas. The findings of the study are: (1) character education planning and key performance indicators (IKU) in line with the vision and mission of the school by involving school stakeholders. (2) the implementation of character education through socialization, learning, habituation and extracurricular activities according to the plan that has been made; 3) character education control using Key Performance Indicators (IKU) including monitoring, evaluation and report submission activities.
