Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran kinerja keuangan PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) Tbk dengan menggunakan metode Du Pont System. Analisis Du Pont System adalah metode perhitungan yang digunakan untuk mengetahui Return On Equity (ROE) dan Return On Investment (ROI) dengan cara menggabungkan Net Profit Margin (NPM), Total Assets Turnover (TATO), dan Equity Multiplier (EM). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data sekunder yang didapat melalui dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja keuangan PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) Tbk selama periode 2017-2019 jika diukur menggunakan metode Du Pont System menggambarkan kondisi yang kurang baik. Nilai Return On Investment mengalami penurunan setiap tahunnya, sedangkan untuk nilai Return On Equity perusahaan mengalami fluktuasi selama 3 tahun terakhir. Kondisi tersebut menggambarkan bahwa kemampuan perusahaan belum efektif dalam hal penggunaan modal, dan tingkat pengembalian laba bersih atas ekuitas yang ditanamkan oleh perusahaan masih kurang efisien. ************ This research was conducted to determine the description of the financial performance of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) Tbk using the Du Pont System method. Du Pont System analysis is a calculation method used to determine Return On Equity (ROE) and Return On Investment (ROI) by combining Net Profit Margin (NPM), Total Assets Turnover (TATO), and Equity Multiplier (EM). The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive analysis method using secondary data obtained through documentation and literature study. The results showed that the financial performance of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) Tbk during the 2017-2019 period when measured using the Du Pont System method described unfavorable conditions. The value of Return On Investment has decreased every year, while the value of the company's Return On Equity has fluctuated for the last 3 years. This condition illustrates that the company's ability has not been effective in terms of capital use, and the rate of return on net income on equity invested by the company is still inefficient.
