Abstract

Kepemimpinan dalam suatu tim adalah penting dan vital agar tim itu dapat berfungsi secara efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi gaya kepemimpinan pelatih futsal putri di Jabodetabek. Adapun gaya kepemimpinan yang sering digunakan antara lain: 1). Kepemimpinan otoriter yaitu kemampuan mempengaruhi orang lain agar bersedia bekerja sama dengan cara segala kegiatan yang akan dilakukan diputuskan oleh pimpinan semata-mata. 2). Kepemipinan demokratis yaitu kepemimpinan yang selalu mendelegasikan wewenangnya yang praktis dan realistis dalam proses pengambilan keputusan serta memperlakukan bawahan sebagai makhluk politik, ekonomi, sosial, dan sebagai individu dengan karakteristik dan jati diri. 3). Kepemimpinan people-centered yaitu suatu gaya kepemimpinan yang menekankan pada pemenuhan kebutuhan pribadi para atletnya. 4). Kepemimpinan task-oriented yaitu suatu gaya kepemimpinan dimana fokus perhatiannya yaitu lebih banyak pada memenangkan setiap pertandingan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei dengan menggunakan angket. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa tipe gaya kepemimpinan demokratis memiliki persentase yang terbesar yaitu sebesar 30,29 % pada pelatih futsal putri Se-Jabodetabek dengan total 1.233, nilai tertinggi 4, nilai terendah 1, nilai rata-rata 3,52, nilai standar deviasi 0,83. Dan tipe gaya kepemimpinan otoriter memiliki persentase terendah yaitu sebesar 15,18% dengan total 618, nilai tertinggi 4, nilai terendah 1, nilai rata-rata 3,09 dan nilai standar deviasi 1,61. Seorang pelatih hendaknya memahami dan mampu menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan dengan menyesuaikan kondisi atlet, alat/ fasilitas atau kebutuhan atlet. Leadership in a team is essential and vital for the team to function effectively. This study aims to identify the leadership style of women's futsal coaches in Jabodetabek. The leadership styles that are often used include: 1). Authoritarian leadership is the ability to influence others to be willing to cooperate in a way that all activities to be carried out are decided solely by the leadership. 2). Democratic leadership is leadership that always delegates practical and realistic authority in the decision-making process and treats subordinates as political, economic, social, and as individuals with characteristics and identities. 3).leadership People-centered is a leadership style which emphasizes on meeting the personal needs of athletes. 4). Task-oriented leadership is a leadership style where the focus of attention is more on winning every match. The research method used includes descriptive quantitative research with a survey method using a questionnaire. Based on the results of this study, it was found that the type of democratic leadership style had the largest percentage of 30.29% for female futsal coaches in Jabodetabek with a total of 1,233, the highest score was 4, the lowest score was 1, the average value was 3.52, the standard deviation value. 0.83. And the type of authoritarian leadership style has the lowest percentage of 15.18% with a total of 618, the highest value is 4, the lowest value is 1, the average value is 3.09 and the standard deviation value is 1.61. A coach should understand and be able to apply a leadership style by adjusting the athlete's condition, equipment / facilities or athlete's needs.
