Abstract

PENGARUH STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN DAN KEMAMPUAN AWAL TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATA KULIAH KEARSIPAN Badriyah badriyah_lp3i@yahoo.co.id Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan di Politeknik LP3I Jakarta, Program Studi Administrasi Bisnis semester genap TA 2019/2020 pada bulan November 2019 s.d Maret 2020 dengan perlakuan diberikan selama 8 (delapan) kali pertemuan termasuk tes awal dan tes akhir dengan metode eksperimen, adapun desain penelitian adalah disain treatment by level 2 x 2. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar matakuliah kearsipan pada mahasiswa administrasi perkantoran, antara mahasiswa yang belajar dengan strategi pembelajaran PBL (Problem Based Learning) dan mahasiswa yang belajar dengan strategi pembelajaran CTL (Contextual Teaching Learning) dan Interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dan kemampuan awal administrasi perkantoran terhadap hasil belajar matakuliah kearsipan. Pengaruh strategi pembelajaran PBL (Problem Based Learning) lebih tinggi bagi mahasiswa yang memiliki tingkat kemampuan awal rendah daripada strategi pembelajaran CTL (Contextual Teaching Learning) terhadap hasil belajar kearsipan. Mahasiswa dengan kemampuan awal rendah dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran PBL (Problem Based Learning) akan lebih baik dengan menyelesaikan permasalahan bersama teman kelompoknya. Sehingga strategi pembelajaran PBL (Problem Based Learning) mempunyai pengaruh yang lebih besar terhadap mahasiswa yang memiliki tingkat kemampuan awal rendah dibandingkan dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran CTL (Contextual Teaching Learning). Untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kearsipan bagi mahasiswa di Politeknik LP3I Jakarta, jurusan administrasi perkantoran yang memiliki kemampuan awal tinggi menggunakan strategi pembelajaran PBL (Problem Based Learning) hasil belajar lebih tinggi, begitu juga bagi mahasiswa yang memiliki kemampuan awal rendah dapat ditingkatkan hasil belajarnya dengan mengikuti strategi pembelajaran PBL (Problem Based Learning), secara umum untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kearsipan mahasiswa Politeknik LP3I Jakarta, jurusan administrasi perkantoran dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran PBL (Problem Based Learning). Kata kunci : Hasil Belajar, Strategi Pembelajaran , Problem Based Learning, Contextual Teaching Learning, dan Kemampuan Awal THE EFFECT OF LEARNING STRATEGY AND INITIAL ABILITY ON THE LEARNING OUTCOMES OF ARCHIVING COURSE Badriyah badriyah_lp3i@yahoo.co.id Abstract This research was conducted at the LP3I Jakarta Polytechnic, Business Administration Study Program during the even semester of the 2019/2020 Academic Year form November 2019 to March 2020 with the treatment given for 8 (eight) meetings including the initial test and final test using the experimental method, while the research design was treatment by level 2 x 2 design. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in learning outcomes of archiving subjects in office administration students, between students who studied PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning strategies and students who studied with CTL (Contextual Teaching Learning) and Interaction between learning strategies and the initial ability of office administration to learning outcomes of archiving courses. The effect of PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning strategies is higher for students who have a low level of initial ability than CTL (Contextual Teaching Learning) learning strategies on archiving learning outcomes. Students with low initial abilities using PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning strategies will be better at solving problems with their group friends. So that the PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning strategy has a greater influence on students who have a low initial ability level compared to using the CTL (Contextual Teaching Learning) learning strategy. To improve archiving learning outcomes for students at the LP3I Jakarta Polytechnic, office administration majors with high initial abilities use PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning strategies, higher learning outcomes, as well as students with low initial abilities can improve their learning outcomes by following the PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning strategy. In general, to improve the learning outcomes of students at the LP3I Jakarta Polytechnic, office administration majors can be done using PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning strategies.
